Put me in the camp that doesn't like Kendal Cream Flake. The flavor is just so so to me, but the problem I have with this is that it delivers a hard heavy nicotine kick for me. I have to dry it till its nearly bone dry, rub it out really well, and then smoke it in a small pipe or the nicotine punch will put me on the floor. Gonna take me a long time to finish the tin. Oh and thanks for subscribing. Cheers
Great review Mark. I was curious, have you ever had Gawith's "Golden Glow." I think it is a milder virginia, and I was just curious on your thoughts about it if you have tried it. Enjoy IPSD!
Thanks Mark, I just discovered the "bean" myself in some 1792 Flake and I like it. We aught to start and "Order of the Bean" with secret hand shakes and long dark robes and such.
Thanks for the review! I ordered some Kendal on a whim the other day, so its good to hear that it should be pretty tasty! I love the FVF, so I think I am gunna enjoy this one too.
I dig the Germain Plumcake, and also some of the Rattray's english mixtures. There are also some nice Gawith ones like Squadron Leader and FVF. Some of the more recent Pease ones look good online but I never got a chance to see them in person.
Thanks for the heads up. Have to put it on the list; even a tobacco that doesn't make the cut is worth a try, ultimately. It's all a pleasant learning curve.

Nice review, Mark. I wish I had watched this video before placing another tobacco order late last night--I would have added a tin to the lot.

What are your favourite tin designs, Mark?

Tell me if MacB Navy Flake is not the coolest tin ever.

is it odd for me at 18 to smoke a pipe?

I haven't open my tin, but I got an ounce of bulk from my supplier for free. Looks like I am going to flake it out tonight.

The white sugars on the Gawith's flakes are awesome!

The font used for "Kendal Cream" looks good, but the green background is really not that great.
