I know, it's annoying...but there are some slight differences every now and then.

Most child performers are way overworked, and often just used as a vicarious way for the parents to live their dream instead of what the child really would like. Show business isn't all glamour. Outfits? Those are owned by the production companies, and are often not even washed between performances, often stink and are sometimes even crusty with mold in places that the audience cannot see. Remember, it's not about kids having fun; it about recording companies making money.
