I really couldn't care who's in the band as long as axl's there, he's the voice..like it or not. if guns n roses were together today without him..it would be pretty poor..have you heard VR (some good songs but overall?) i never got the chance to see the first line up but from what i saw they seemed tempermental drugs, egos etc but this line up seems in top shape.

VR is far from being GnR. Like the new generation GnR is far from being the real stuff. Like you said, the real GnR is the original line up. But I doubt we would ever see them back together again. For that to happen Axl and Slash have to put their pride aside. Axl has his right to keep the band moving on since he was the only one who didn't leave. Anyhow, don't expect from VR and new GnR to sound like the old times. In my opinion Izzy is the only one who still has the GnR roots!

Like Axl said, the end of the band begun when Steven Adler got fired. The guy was ruining the band. None of the guys could stand Adler's non stop errors during rehearsals. Then, this same Adler decides to sue the band, saying they were responsible for his drug addiction.

Axl was the only one at court who stood up for the band. The band's problems was always on his shoulders, not slash's, izzy's, duff's. Now this guy RickyMcFate demands Axl's respect towards Gn'R? You're a joke mister!

Axl was the last one to sign the document that fired Steven Adler, because he didn't want to lose the original line up. Now, how can a band survive with a drummer who can't hold the sticks right because he's so wasted?!

the rest of the band decided to fire steven cuz he was stoned most of the time and he couldnt play drums as well as he did, but axl was the first who wanted to fire him cuz axl got an overdose, he almost died and stevie didnt do anything to help him cuz he was so stoned... after that axl wrote coma (with slash)

but if Slash had the name, you wouldn't care, right. So, if Contrabrand was a Guns N Roses album, you wouln't care either. What about if Libertad was a GN'R album, that would be a disgrace to the name. Chinese Democracy shounds more like Guns N' Roses than both Velvet Revolver ever will. Chinese has a more sound of Guns than VR did, the vocals is one thing. Axl is Guns N Roses now, deal with it.
