I've never seen Gossip Girl but either way, it doesn't matter how people are talking about Bloc Party, as long as they are. I've been listening to Bloc Party for three years now and I think that it's great that they got their music played in a TV show. It is a beautiful song and these are wonderful lyrics. And the new instruments that they are putting to use so harmoniously are also amazing.

to everyone that thinks they are doing this techno stuff you have to know that each album is being influenced by 1 of the guys in the band. this is just what one of the guys in the band likes, they could be totally diffrent in the next album!!

Sorry, but if your going to insult me try to make sense. I think Biko and Ion square are pretty good as well. All im saying is that i prefer their earlier stuff, does that make me music ignorant???

I agree! I'm not much of a fan of this "techno" thing they're doing but this and Trojan Horse are pretty good.

He was subversive and hilarious, a true genius...what in the hell do Bloc Party have to do with Oscar Wilde, aside from the fact that they are both English? And Wilde was more of a dramatist and prose writer than a poet, fyi, so I'm not sure what they really have in common...
