Guns made possible for the common peasant/citizen kill people with little to no training.

Ireland is your best choice...even on maximum difficulty you can take advantage of englands desperate state and ultimately use the english to win your own dominance over the brittish isles...it's easy on any difficulty...and the barons rebellion (with england as an ally to ireland) is just an excuse to conquer York and its sourrounding area giving you an advantage for future.

The "Medieval 2" is better that kingdom. Kingdom is an expansion. Download the mod "Stainless Steel 6.0" It's very good and makes the game lot more fun with more regions. Though this game is good too because it's more focused (: I like a big world better (:

go to amazon and buy the medieval II total war gold pack, this game is beast even though its 4 years old i don't like this campaign in particular because it has unrealistic movement time PS: it takes 4 year of in game time to move across Ireland in medieval time that would take about two weeks of marching
