this probably is modded into gh2 but he is not playing it in double speed. modded songs whether double speed or not the animations in the background will still be the same speed, clearly they were moving just as fast as the song he just sped it up when he recorded it and changed the begining and end to make it appear as if he did double speed.

actually the animations speed is based on the BPM of the note chart, for example go play red lottery, when you use SP they pretty much hover when they jump. by doubling the BPM of the chart it doubles the speed of the animations. notice the "star power ready" was at normal speed, and that would be hard to fake.
