The Chair of this Committee meeting should have held Mr. Shimkus out of order. If he wants to testify about his "knowledge," then he should offer to appear for that purpose. All he seemed to do in this clip was testify and fail to listen.

He unfortunately seems incapable of understanding that a small amount of greenhouse gases can have a significant impact on the climate, especially when you consider runaway feedbacks that our emissions may already have triggered.

Rep. Shimkus is perhaps one of the most incompetent members of Congress currently serving. Anyone who states that it is his belief that the Bible is the infallible word of God is a truly frightening individual, especially when he is in a position to bully those offering scientific testimony to Congress.
