  • Bummer about the parts man, but seriously was hilarious to watch. It looked like the car actually took a dump on the track. I can honestly say i've never seen something quite like that before.

  • Yeah...I know Kevin. I am not changing my car to FWD. I am not competing with a full-out race car that does 8.2's. This is a street car, and it stays AWD. It may go auto in the future, but that is about it.

  • Best bet is to go for FWD;) Hey there def are some fast fwd dsm's check out kiggly's car.

  • @buddah463 how in the hell is that anyones best bet? awd to fwd? what a waste of time and money.

  • LOL, I guess that I am a ricer then in a 9-second car. Oh well. Parts break, its part of racing.

  • This is like 1st person view of a being a Ricer.

  • "yea its the rear differential..." hahah funny stuff

  • WTF is wrong at 0:25???

  • @1998620Miki Nothing wrong, it's called launch control and it changes the ignition and fuel so that the turbo will build pressure while standing still.

  • @ringlol tnx for explaining that to me

  • @1998620Miki that is called 2 step my friend.

  • What do you have your anti-lag settings to? Fuel enrichment?

  • @jsanchez430 - 10-degrees spark retard, 8% fuel retard, anti-lag off at 7200rpm/on at 4500rpm, alt overboost for 22psi. 2step fuel cut at 7400rpm, ignition cut at 6400rpm. I am running a hybrid boost comp map as well.

  • @twicks69 Very nice. No wonder that diff broke :P You're running AEM EMS I assume?

  • @casper5690 you need to shut your mouth. You don't know what ur talking about a Honda with an h22 na built makin around 350hp will spin thru 3 on street tires and spin thru 2 with slick. That's why u didn't break any trannys probably just a shit load of Axels.

  • i have the same fucking car, in the same color.

love my dsm, im sorry for you, this kind of things make u mad, but as you said, everything can be repared and heavily tuned.

    love your ride dude.

    dsm rules

  • anti lag sounds fuckin' meeeeannnn

  • you broke it, you didnt shift into second gear fast enough dork.

  • The car had over 600 track passes in 9 years on the parts that broke.

The parts broke because the rear differential cover broke first, then everything else shit the bed because of it. With a modified rear diff cover, and a solid mounting solution in place for the rear end, the rear drivetrain is quite stout in stock form.

There have been substantial upgrades since these parts broke, including DSS Stage 5 axles, upgraded rear diff, solid mounts, steel diff cover, etc.

  • @twicks69 how much power where you making at the time, and were the diff and axles stock?

  • @bbdrew used to have a boosted h22a with stock tranny and i ripped on that fucker as hard as i could, never broke on me, i blew a vacuum line once, thats about it, dsm is cheap toys...if your blowing trannies and shafts bro, learn to drive.......haha

  • @TGrigor92 haha i guess 453hp isnt enough force haha, i think you need a reality check bro, dsm is shit, just like your brains hahaha, honda all day

  • @casper5690 Yeah appearently 453HP it isnt enough power. Im not going to argue with some honda lover. BTW This car is making 640AWHP, which is roughly 720BHP. Plenty of force to blow a rear end with 9 years worth of passes on it. Not to mention he's on slicks. Lets face it, the only thing hondas are good for is an everyday drive aroud car. And besides anything over 400whp is just overkill with lots of wheelspin.

  • @TGrigor92 yeah dude thats a street tune 361hp @ 9lbs and 453@17lbs on pump gas, when i first got it i ran dynos over 550hp @26lbs just for shits and giggles and could have pushed it harder with c16 and a coil prolly making like 700hp+ or some retarded shit like that, either way dude, what you drive son? a neon?thats your mothers?hahahaha please just shut your mouth

  • @casper5690 I drive a 1G Talon TSi AWD with about(I tune it myself and it feels about right) 350 whp on a conservative tune as my DD. Then I have My '02 ZX6R. Don't get your panties in such a bunch ass wipe. Have fun buying front tires.

  • @casper5690 haha you can keep your honda!

  • shoulda went honda haha

  • @casper5690 So you can blow trannies, and destroy cv shafts every other pass?

  • I'll be very impressed when you come up for a solution for bolting the new back in as quickly as you took this one out! No tools allowed either.

  • hew did the right thing and pulled over, instead of continuing down the track with fluid and parts spilling...

  • the thing i dont get is when u pull over u leak fluid through the tire grooves which is actualy worse in a way..thats y i think u should just stop instaed of pulling over

  • @jrdragster3323

I would have to agree. What's the point in pulling over anyway? It's not like anyone can use the lane until it's cleaned up.

  • @787Bisurdaddy yeah i think u should just stop..they can scrape and put new rubber down after..but u turn and pull over u just leak fluid in the tires grooves which is dumb

  • Typical DSM. Time for a new upgrade. Nice removal, nice, quick and easy.

  • Damn Tim! I wish I could have been there to see that but I over slept sunday morning! lol Glad /J and Mr. Peepers got some good footage of it!

  • Im a big fan of your technique on removing that ;)

Bummer it happened, sorry to hear that!
