God bless your optimism but you clearly are not a student of history. Well, I hope things turn out for Iran in the tradition of India and not like those of Tibet, Poland, the Czech Republic, North Korea, Hungary, etc.

I VERY much support what you and everyone there are doing.  And I do wish you the greatest success in achieving your goals.

Unfortunately I suspect that more than a few people there were all too happy to condemn George Bush with his efforts in Iraq. They perhaps didn't realize it at the time but such protests then have killed any hope of you getting any REAL support from America & Canada in your cause. :-(

Having no support from the US or any other nation is an absolute requirement for the success of this movement. No matter how well-intentioned and however sincere, any sort of external influence at this point in time will only poison the Green movement. It must remain strictly internal and purely organic. Fortunately, the US now has a president that understands this fact.
