Thus, legally, he is a natural born US citizen with absolutely zero evidence to the contrary. What his grandmother may have said to a local TV station in 1970 is not considered a legal document under US law. You'll have to take that up with the courts if you believe an 80 year old African woman's word should be equal to a State certified birth certificate under US law.

The term "home country" is a very broad term, and is frequently used by 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Americans to refer to their country of heritage. It's not uncommon to hear i.e Chinese Americans born in NY or LA call China their "home country." And it would certainly be dismissed as evidence for anything in a US court.

There are videos on Youtube showing at least on 2 different speaking occasions she stating this. Look them up for yourself. His wife should know where he's from. I'll take her at her word. Keep in mind the constitution of the U.S. requires a president to be a natural born citizen. If he is not he has scammed the American people.

@topazrain His birth certificate is a legal document certified by the State of Hawaii, thus considered legal by any US court. Thus, legally, he is a natural born US citizen with absolutely zero evidence to the contrary. What his grandmother may have said to a local TV station in 1970 is not considered a legal document under US law. You'll have to take that up with the courts if you believe an 80 year old African woman's word should be equal to a State certified birth certificate under US law.

Anyway, I wasn't referring to Michelle Obama as a 2nd generation Kenyan, but Obama. The term "home country" is a very broad term, and is frequently used by 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation Americans to refer to their country of heritage. It's not uncommon to hear i.e Chinese Americans born in NY or LA call China their "home country." And it would certainly be dismissed as evidence for anything in a US court.

It doesn't matter if Obama was born in Hawaii or not. His father was a foreigner. Children, at the time of Obama's birth who had a foreign parent had DUAL CITIZENSHIP. You can become a full-fledged NATURALIZED CITIZEN, but naturalized citizens CAN NOT BECOME PRESIDENT, only NATURAL BORN with two American citizens. You could have cameras in Hawaii while little Barry Soetoro was being born with proof beyond belief he was born in Hawaii, and that still wouldn't make him eligible to be pres.

His birth was recorded in Honolulu, where both of his parents were attending school. It was recorded in the local papers who get that information from the Dept. of Health who has even verified that his BC is on file there stating he was born in Honolulu. You even have the name of the Hospital.
To say that he wasn't born in the US is to say that Hawaii isn't a state. That's what my post was saying.

Both Obama's Grandmother and the Kenyan Ambassador have both said he was born in Kenya. Obama has spent millions in order to fight people who push him in a legal manner to show a long form vault copy. He sealed his records. He could easily shut us up by providing the RIGHT bc. I think it's appropriate to call for CNN to fire Lou Dobbs because viewers have a right to expect a certain level of journalistic integrity from a news station and on a consistent basis.
People don't have to produce their birth documents to whenever some paranoid papparazzi wants to see them.
Obama has acted appropriately. Plus, it's easily deducible that he's a citizen who produced a certified copy of his birth certificate simply because he's used a U.S. passport to travel for many years.

Bill O'reilly says this issue is bogus.... Why has Obama sealed his records then???? Birth Certificate, College Transcripts, etc..... I used to think O'reilly stood for something, but not anymore. How do you think Obama got an American passport and has been traveling in and out of the country with it, for years now? With a driver's license? You have to produce a certified copy of your birth certificate in order to get a U.S. passport. It's common sense.

They won't issue a regular passport with a certification of live birth. Only a birth certificate.

When they copied Obama's birth certificate from another, they used his sisters. BUT the dummies who did the deed, forgot to wipe off all traces of the old person. They left 2 initials on the top corner of the certificate copy. If it was a legitimate certificate, it would have been Barry Obama's initials. Who ever said that Democrats were smarter than Republicans? . AND there is no doctor's signature on the copy...LOL Hey dummy, ya you..Chris Matthews, tingle up yur leg now dummy?
