And while the video creator does well in controlling his 10 characters, most of the dps output could probably have been better if all of the dps had been the same class type, running the same rotations that would pick up the same procs in said rotation, the damage done would have been greater.

While I applaud his ability to 10box...His choice in using different character classes is...flawed. A destruction warlock has far better dps when you use a rotation (like my vid) as do a lot of caster classes, because a lot of their DPS is based on proc-ing something. Only thing I saw was incinerate.

he uses a program that lets him hit 1 button to make all characters do whatever they have hotkeyed for that. So if he hit 1, all shams would lightning bolt, mage would fireball, and lock would shadowbolt.

Not really, if u are smart enought do macros :

for palas(healers) /cast [target=palatank] Flash of Light

for Warlocks /cast [target=prince] Incenerate

for mages /cast [target=prince] Fireball

for shamans /cast [target=prince] Lighting Bolt

Etc, and bound that to key 2 on your keyboard (that is replicated to the other pcs) and spam the sh1t out of it.

Its not the best DPS possible, but, its doable

What this guy does is he makes this one keyboard control all of his chars, so he would just put healing spells on the healers action bars, all the way across, and the dps spells he wanted his locks to use etc, so when he casts all of his spells, his other chars are simply using one of theirs.

I have to set up most boss fights before I start, so it's a pain in the ass that way. But some bosses like the prince are really easy once it's started. Attuneman - 3 have to position Moroes - 6 have 2 run 2 tanks Maiden - 3 have to control the pally healer R&J - 3 watch for interupts Wolf - 1 just don't aggro Oz - 5 have to click on fear/scorch target Illhoof - 5 move sac'd party members Aran - 1 Chess - 10 have to move everyone individually Prince - 1 easy as hell

I've killed 9 out of the 11 bosses. After I edited the first illhoof video it was kind of 'old news' and the other videos didn't attract nearly as much attention. I've just been too lazy to edit the other boss kills tbh. Plus I'm using Chinese Windows, Chinese Movie Maker, and I can barely read it. It's really frustrating so I'm just putting it off.

It's around 100 dollars a month, but it's getting cheaper. I haven't done any other ZA attempts and I've been working on my 4 Shaman arena group. Since I pay per minute I play it's costing me nothing to let the characters sit until it's time to do Kara. I might just shelve the 10 boxing altogether with WotLK coming out. It's cumbersome to switch between group setups (sm arena and 10 boxing) and I'll just replace all the gear anyway. After Wotlk is live i'll try to gear them all up again.

I was able to clear to the bear boss, and attempted him until trash respawned but never really put a dent in him. I have gear issues with the 2nd tank and I only have 1 realy healer.

The Bird boss I got down to around 32% before my priest ran out of mana. Just gear issues. It takes a long time to gear 10 guys, so things are going slow.

I had a couple good chances to pull out a win with an infernal drop on my alts but I failed both of them by not stopping soon enough to heal my tank. So far I just try him until the drops work in my favor, but I try to keep going when I get a bad drop.

This fight didn't require any special macros. It's probably the easiest fight in Kara when Infernals fall right. All the alts just do /castsequence [target=focustarget,exists,nod­ead,harm] reset=6/combat/target spell1,spell2,spell3

Your standard multiboxing macros.

I replied in another movie about the addons I use, but the major one is Trinity Bars 2.0. The ability to have all those macros is too good. Especially when raiding because I have to make a new button for every encounter it seems.

Thank you, but the 2x 5 box videos inspired me and gave me confidence that this could be done solo. I actually had a decent amount of kara multiboxing experience prior to running 10 accounts, and it seems that the more toons i'm controlling the easier it gets. It's just more predictable and I feel more in control of how the fight will play out.
