What's awesome about nevermore is their ability to make the live performance exactly the same as the recording. In real time, the recording matches up with their live video flawlessly. Most bands play faster or slower live . Not many can play with that precision and skill every time the song is presented.

its mainly the singer who isnt good live. jeff loomis plays his licks extremely clean live but warrel dane seems to write and record vocal lines that are harder than he can perform live if he doesnt practice all the time

yeah i totally agree..Loomis is always excelent especially the solos are as good as live, but Warrel..well we shouldn't blame him cause the vocalist always does the hardest work and it depends whether is a good day for him or not..at least at year of the Voyager he is very very good..

this isnt a hard song to keep on time...its the fast songs like born and engines of hate that they play faster...those ones just kinda take a will of their own...but mostly acoustic ones are pretty easy to keep on time even without a click...doubly so if your in a band that actually practices your live set well before you go on tour...which im sure nevermore does...part of being a professional--Skooter
