you took the lid off wrong, the metal piece after you lift of the top, you DON'T rip it off, you pull it along side of the metal piece so that you can get to the rubber lid, and take that off, this will prevent you from cutting your fingers on the metal piece

Honestly, i didnt consult an eye doctor, i did some research online and decided to give it a try. If you take care of them properly, and make sure ur hands are clean when u put them in and out and only keep them in for the amount of suggested, for the most part you should be fine!

have u visited an eye doctor before? they can usually tell u if ur eyes are shaped differently. i actually have a slight astigmatism in one eye and these still fit and feel fine.

See my best friend is asian and she brought a pair and i just don't get it...because if you ask me I think the shape of asian eyes are beautiful with out...but oh well its all in fashion just make sure ur putting drops in you eye before you put them on and take them out cause if you don't you could be damaging your eye cornea. I did it and now I stuck wearing glasses untill my eye doc says i can stop

You really shouldn't wear any type of contacts if you don't need it. I wear them because I need them and mine are prescripted. It's going to ruin your eyes as time progresses so why wear them when you don't even need them especially when they ruin your eyes. That's like wearing glasses when you don't need them. I wouldn't keep the lenses for a year btw. Bacteria does tend to build no matter how much you "clean" them. The most i'd have them for would be half a year if not less.

i didnt misread anything, Im telling you, changing your eye colour is fun for some people obviously not you and it IS safe, its because there are FDA approved colour lenses that are safe to wear as long as you follow the guidelines and care from the lens manufacturer and an optician.k? the answer is, the COLOUR in the lens is why we wear them, and nowdays they make them look really real, search waicon in grey or my new favourite-green! and if u hate lenses so much just go back toglasses kthnxbi

i understand there are risks, there are risks to lots of things.  i did as much research as i could and what i have found out is that the cause of most problems when it comes to circle lenses is when they are fake. you have to make sure you get authentic ones and like niki982 said if CARED FOR and USED PROPERLY you minimize these risks.

Im not telling anyone to run out and get these, im just sharing something i think is neat, and something lots of people wear also!

im a long time circle lens wearer and i'll say they last quite a long time for lenses in general but they don't last a year...

i mean, they won't rip usually, but after a good run of maybe 6 months+ depending on how frequently you wear them/take care of them, they become really uncomfortable and they start getting shifty and dry out really quick...

when that happens, you have to forget them and get another pair... it's sad 'cause they look fine but they're awful for your eyes :((

and you should try geo angel brown... they're really pretty but look natural

And if you want violet you should try geo violet wing too, they're not too bright.. cuz I tried some purple lenses before but they were too bright and made me look blind :/

I just came back from NY and while I was there auditioning with a friend we stoppe din for him to be fitted and pick up these custom contacts for a shoot he's doing for the company that are made for movies and just people who want to naturally change the color of their eyes but they are like $2,000 and last I think 2 yrs.I want them since they look so natural they do a consultation and match them to your skin hair,colors you wear often it's crazy. the company nis custom contacts

i would get those but i have prescription lenses and i'm worried about messing my eyes up, contacts are easy to take care of, just dont sleep in them or put your left one into your right eye, oh and if you have issues putting them in first time dont worry about it, it gets easier.

oh their so fun! i have two pairs for this convention i went to over the summer. they gave me a lot of troble at first, but dont give up. it can be really disouraging but once i got them in they looked so cool! I think their so amusing! i suggest that if some one is intrested in getting them have someone help you that has actual contacts.remember to wash your hands REALLY well before and after too. you're probably going to love them, if you do you should deffinetly get other colors.

yeah i did, lol. they are kinda pricey. i wear contacts but my insurance (fortunately) covers them. They are really pretty when you have light eyes such as hazel or blue and you wear the black ones. Your eyes look anime-ish

I have all the GEO Angels (green is my fave -- but i haven't tried them all.. a lot are still in its unopened pkg)

the violet nudies are really really pretty too! (i want to try more nudies)

but in general (all time fave).. i have a pair of BLACK ones.. they are GEO.. forget the style at the moment.. they are AWESOME... gives the doll-eye look.. (some think it's creepy lol) cuz your entire eye is soo black/dark =P

these are used for cosmetic purposes, but if you have never worn contacts before or are worried you should consult your eye doctor. Im just winging it, ill let you guys know how it goes! Lots of people have worn them with no problem, but like most things there is always a risk.
