I've had a lot of luck using waders. The only time conservation gets pissy is when you are out there with no waders on. I was able to get to the bigger bass with waders.

Warning : Do Not Try This In Florida. Innocent ponds may look like fun, but when you are underwater and are being "Death Rolled" by an Alligator, you get a whole different perspective.

i wouldnt walk in a pond because its mucky and kinda gross. if it was that deep i'd take my aluminum flat bottom boat out and anchor it and do it that way so i can still fish parallel with the bank!

good idea, but if you dont have wadders, instead of casting in the middle of the lake, i have a habit of casting sideways, (on a 45 degree angle).

lol i feel ya...i can just see conservation come up askin me what the hell i was doing..well on youtube, Wade bourne told me to put on waders and fish perpendicular to the shore.
