Anybody judging this man for what he has done hasn't seen much of his/her inner potential as much in the constructive side as in the destructive side. It feels to me as a great tragedy that he has gone so far as to kill someone, and also a great tragedy that he was forced to prison instead of mandatory therapy.
We are not really civilized yet if punishment/prison is the only solution we have to such situations. I hope we can do better in the future to our fellow human beeings.
@michelbisson2 What about what Reiser did to a fellow human being? How civilized was he? We can do better for humanity by jailing the murderers so they don't kill us off.
Now that Hans has lead the police to Nina's body as part of a plea bargain, it's obvious this so-called brainy, oh so intelligent computer geek (what an insult to geeks!) had the crap scared out of him when he found out that in prison, he'd be nothing more than somebody's BITCH! Rest in peace, Nina!
I'm against the death penalty, under any circumstances. He killed and he should get to know the inside walls of a cell very well, perhaps for the rest of his natural life. Bye, Hans! Have a nice incarceration!
I've known Hans and his family for more than 20 years. I've have never seen or heard of a single act that would allow me to believe he could be guilty of anything like this. IrishBadBoyCA should not be so simple to assume that eccentric brilliance equals guilt.
Looks like IrishBadBoyCA knows Hans Reiser a lot better than you. Must be hell having to now admit that the Hans and the family you thought you knew so well, have turned out to be nothing more than liars, schemers, and just plain rotten people! Obviously, part of the eccentric brilliance worn by Hans Reiser includes MURDERER!
Before classifying him as an OJ, what do we know? Interesting summary is on Wikipedia, look it up. Framed by Russian ex, or contracted friend to erase her. Who knows. Interesting and sensational and everything, but we can't conclude anything until it all unfolds. Good grief, the misery though, eh?
You get the last laugh, my friend. But a mother is dead, killed by her so called loving husband. I know poeple who knew them both and from the start, they had a strong feeling Hans did it!
killer talk!

Will Google - YouTube pull this again in light of recent events? News is he led police to the location of his wife's body.

Maybe you didn't really see their family life... he did kill her, and led the police to the body.
