  • 'get a life tosser'

That's funny as this is a great life to have. They have a real chance at education and music, which is not a boring way to live.

  • Well that's a trip down memory lane if ever I've seen one! And Chets did my musical aspirations very little harm... (96-98, in the vid).

  • @messiaen2000 That is a totally fucking pathetic comment.

  • I wish channel 4 would upload parts 2 & 3

  • Lucky.. I wish I had the opportunity to be educated professionally.. But I guess I don't have much "telent" as required to be accepted.. Envy those musicians...

  • That conductor takes himself way too seriously.

  • cant comment myself I was a comp educated boy studying privately until college. I think there are pros and cons specialising so early. I think me and my Chets/menhuin/wells friends all agree on that one.

  • had many friends at college who came out of Chets! Mix views some loved it others described it as a prison and were still getting over it!

  • I was at this school from 84 until 1990. - a trip down memory lane

  • false hope factories?

What on earth are you on? I went here for two year's and if it's one thing.. it's not that..

  • Well, my name is Michael. I attended Chets from 1996 to 2000, I'm a pianist.

  • Who are all of you? When did you attend this school? Are you still there? The video is during the time I was there. Please introduce yourselves to me.

  • It's polite to introduce yourself first!

  • wow andy - jaded much? i'd prefer if you didn't say my friends have failed, as its bollocks.

  • It was nice to see John MacMurray teach -- we were students together many years ago.

  • How very interesting :) Have you got the other 3 parts to the documentary? If so then please don't be shy to share them ;)

  • my bros a session musician in london he earned 1000 pounds last week an he went this skool. ha

  • Sad really. Nearly everyone seen on this video ended up on the scrap heap of failed musicians.

Places like this school should be shut down. They are false hope factories that ruin far more lives than they save.

  • excuse me but i go to this school and it is amazing. Ja feng just left and he came 2nd in the worlds largest violin competition.
