@paramsaram - she is (was?) Katayoon, a beautiful Persian actress of the 1960s. not sure if she's still alive or not. certainly no longer living in Iran anyway as most actors and actresses had to flee the country before, during or after the 1979 revolution.
@sampopular - considered the 1st *true* Iranian (Persian) musical. most movies in the Iran of those times (and some today) were made musically but barely anyone was made with true traditional Iranian elements borrowed from the Persian folklore. they were mostly cliche copies from commercial Indian musicals. this one though, Hassan Katchal (Hassan The Bold [no hair]) was and still is an exception. its director, late Ali Hatami, was an expert lyricist who knew well about old Iranian tales.
