@gomeznuke I guess everyone sees something different, but I for one didn't see this as a propaganda ad for any religion. I saw this as a video of a kid who wished he had normal life like us, to do the things we take for granted (everything), to live every day without fear, to have the privilege to complain and bi-t-ch about the stupidest things. A great lesson for us all if you ask me, savior your life bro, enjoy life a little bit more and respect the dead no matter who they are.

the reason he was smiling when he saw the light was not becuz he was dying but that his guardian angel was there to let him know that everything was going to be okay. :) he has a beautiful smile. why do all the sweet & good people die young? i don't believe in god or heaven. but i do believe in angels & the power of the mind to where it can put you in the place you believe is heaven. :) i hate to think of him dying on Christmas (so i heard) & that this video was posted on my birthday. RIP Ben <3

What is even more amazing is to look into his eyes and in our heart bridge the gap between life and death. What if the veil was lifted and humanity no longer reacted in any way out of the fear of death. What if "death" ceased as an idea to exist? How could that change the world? May his soul be resting in peace, and that young man wearing that infectious smile of his. As I look at him, it is hard to imagine that he is dead. It seems inconceivable.

this was a very sad video.. It must of been scary the first few times he 'cheated' death. I also believe in angels and God. and I do believe it was heaven he saw with the white room that went on and on.. and that the bright light he saw was the light to heaven.. and I haven't witnessed it myself, but I believe that once I am in his shoes, that I will see the light too.

Well it's the internet people are allowed to post their opinions on any video they want. This is a very sad video, R.I.P Ben. There is also no reason to get anal with someone on the internet. ProWoRunner posted a public opinion on a public video.

The reason he saw this white room and such, is because his brain was shutting down, DMT is a chemical that is produced in the brain, it is released in very large ammounts when one is about to die. Its said that this is the bodies natural way to help people accept death, considering he didnt want to leave. The brain stays active for 7-10 minutes after the heart stops.

There were no angles, no white room, no after life. Just what his brain could imagine.

Anyways I may have responded a bit harshly only because death was/is a sensitive subject for me. my father passed 5 months ago..so I believe in what Ben did, always have always will. my father is in a better place with Angels* and God, and he's watching over me protecting me. It is only one of a few scientific explanations. Which means that it is not a scientific proof only a scientific attempt at explaining something mysterious to us. Having said that, there were other people who had beyond near death experiences witnessing heaven and hell. The question is, if it is all chemical DMT reaction, why is beyond near death experiences always greeted with heaven or hell? Religious or not the experience is always one of the two.

Anything after 7 minutes the brain DIES so if by chance your brought back to life, you would be completely brain dead and would have no way to even explain everything you just saw. They reason people see heaven, is because they truely believe in it. so when dmt is released, thats what your brain concieves.

DMT cannot explain the actual experience, it only explains the chemical process in the brain, which leaves the actual conscious experience of it hanging in the air of endless theories.

Beyond NDE (death), is not new, it is often labeled as NDE because there is no other explanation, but there are for ex. 1hr death cases.
