I can only concur with all the other comments; good cover. I'm having trouble figuring out the finger picking on this one, and you're one of the few people on youtube who I've seen play it the way it should sound.

Wow man, awesome job. I'd be hard pressed to say you did that better then Townes but that guitar sure sounded sweeter then any I've heard him play on. I've been searching for years for a good Pancho and Lefty cover and that's the best by far. I for one would be grateful if you could post that tab. Thanks for the tune, I'm off to ruin Tecumseh Valley while I'm inspired.

Very good cover. I am trying to learn some Townes VanZandt songs myself and I'm having a difficult time trying to establish a fingerpicking pattern similar to his. I keep trying to Travis Pick with an Inside Out Pattern but that's clearly not his common style.

I can tell by your other videos you have the feeling and emotion like VanZandt had. I'm impressed.

I'd say that this is basically Travis picking.

Sometimes he alternates his thumb between 5th- 3rd- 6th- 3rd which is more unusual (see Am at 10 - 13 seconds ).
