@yadavmayur it's not that abnormal and some songs practically require you to hold a G like that, it has a few advantages like a faster swap to any kind of F barre chord as well as the ability to add in your index finger for different accents higher up the neck. it's odd to see it used in a song that doesn't really call for it, though
