Despite Axl's public persona of being a bit of a tit, I think it's great he did this, *and* with material significantly different from the stuff he usually does without making it sound painful. A good version. Hopefully he did it with good intentions, not just for the media coverage.

It's more a soccer thing - oh sorry footbul. At stadiums footbul fans have chants and claps for their teams. So I guess it just becomes expected that if you are at a packed stadium you will clap and cheer together.
