  • Of what railroad heritage is #58 from?

  • @PereMarquette1223 The 58 has had a number of owners as well has numbers, but it was first owned by the Atlanta, Birmingham and Atlantic Railroad

  • Wow... 58 just doesn't sound the same without her five-chime whistle. It sounds great... but just not what I'm used too. It belongs on 98!!

  • It always did seem better on 98. But I just wanted to hear the meoldies of the whistle in the night.

  • @CSX6000 It does fit 98 better. It'd be better on a bigger engine like 90.

  • Oh my god!! Those bastards! They removed the NKP five chime!

  • HEY! That happens to be my whistle. It was only temporary. So don't be calling me a bastard for just putting my whistle on for 1 night. But expect to see it on from time-to-time.

  • Joking man, joking! I'm sorry, I just happen to be a fan of five chimes...lol.

  • Ok. Fair enough. I am just a fan of 3-chimes and single-noters. I usually put it on a few times a year. Mostly on 98 during the Christmas season.

  • Ah, very well. It's not terrible, it just deters from the norm...

  • Actually. I think its a Western Pacific 5-chime. I saw that somewhere. Its always been a mystery.

  • they took her 5 chime off, INCONCEIVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
