@Peedge80 my roommate owns this type of bird. He gives it as much attention as any college student would, but it's never enough. It drives me insane when he screeches because it's almost nonstop. He must have given it too much attention when it was young because he will leave his room for 5 minutes and the insanity begins again.
This is the most ANNOYING BIRD that ever lived. Imagine, if you would, 2:45 to 3:04 NON-STOP, all day, err day.. Im not joking. AVOID THIS BIRD AT ALL COSTS
@mamytime I'm guessing you mean bc conures, not Karma, per se. I do believe that you have to be the right owner to handle conures. There were times, I ran out of the house and locked myself out without shoes on. Because of that screaming. However, there are so many other times when she stole my heart. She has been adopted by someone who is even better suited to her than even I was. And happy. My ear are happier too.
Hi. I have enjoyed your video. I am looking into getting a blue crowned/ sharp-tailed conure as a pet. Would you recommend it? Any good/ bad points? Could you recommend any breeders in the UK? Thanks. Naomi. x
Lol that's Kiwi's favorite word. He also says pretty bird, hello, step up, up up up up!, buh bye, night night, whoooooo!, gives kisses, does drum rolls, beat boxes, and laughs. He probably does more, but that's what I got off the top of my head. He is a 8 years old and was a rescue. I found him basically rotting in the back room of a pet store, hence why he is a plucker. I guess before he ended up there, he was a class pet at a high school. When I got him, he was in really bad shape =(
She is really getting after you, isn't she? I am getting a blue crown conure possibly and hope that she does well in an apartment situation. I know that they can get LOUD lol.
Karma is so cute. She sounds so much like my blue crown Ernie. He can get really loud too. He also barks and sings. They sure are vocal and so much fun.

I love your video of Kiwi. I have tried until I was blue in the face with peek-a-boo and she's said it twice and hasn't said it again!

I like how you were able to get your bird to talk. Our's won't say a peep if he sees a camera sitting around.
