Have any of you who mock Eckart Tolle's book read it or have you watched Oprah's A New Earth Webcast? You know, Eckart quotes the bible and Jesus often both in his book and when speaking. He is trying to help people be more spiritual, an adjunct to whichever religion they choose. He is not looking to be a cult-not his intention. It matters not a bit to him if you do not connect with his book. He would just say, "that is ok" and move on with his day.
The Bible is beyond amazing but many will not give it much study or credence. If you will try it look at Isaiah 46 verse 9 and 10. Is that to much to ask.. Nothing wrong with believing in Jesus or another religion but I really don't think this book contradicts another religious belief. Remember this my friends... The ONLY way to the Father (God) is through Jesus Christ. If you just believe that Jesus died for your sins and ask Him for forgiveness, you will be saved from eternal damnation.
All of this New Age cult of dreams, talking to the dead, etc. will lead you down the path to hell. But you do not have to take this path.

Hi, thanks for your response. I'm not going to argue. You have your spiritual path. I have mine. I respect yours. That said, I DO have a relationship with Jesus. I've gone through a lot...and I found that Jesus was there...So I don't appreciate that you jumped to a conclusion like you did so easily. I'm not a sinner and I've prayed and prayed all through my life...so don't jump to that conclusion either. Organized religion is not the way. The truth is inside you.

If Jesus was just an exceptional man, and not EXACTLY what he said, than he was the worlds biggest deceiver, that plays to the same tune as Jim Jones. How can you have a relationship with just some dead man? Some dead guru? To put yourself as your own god is to do exactly what Satan did(yup, he's real). If your not a sinner, than your perfect. I'm really started to understand the Blood of Jesus and what it all means recently. That blood was shed to cover us. Good question, but I believe I have a answer. Well, imagine if he did write it himself. "Okay, I healed this dude and this guy over here. I am your Missiah". He would seem like a mad man! It's so easy to say, "Yeah, I did this". Anyone can do that, but if you have a WITNESS, now... That changes things. You have the Four Gospels, not one person talking about himself. The four would hold more water than someone talking about themself in a court of law. Make sense?

Of coarse he said it, but had others write it. That's my point. It's a major differance between "I did this stuff" and "HE did this stuff". Also, every kind of being has a critic, no matter what they do.
You can keep telling yourself that he wouldn't want "people to follow a book", but it's not about "following a book", it's about following the word and will of God.

The LHC is just another invention. People were amazed when the TV came out. How can something that a man made tell us something about God? This is true. Peolpe have been expecting the end since the begining it appears. I see the stage being set, though. I see "knowledge" becoming the God of the NWO. That is one thing that has never happend in all of time til now. One unified earth. We're not unified yet, but it's on the way.
It won't tell us about God. It will just make many think we're equal or superior. That is the attitude of many already.

Not true. I do believe everything was fine until we had a few air plains crashed into the Twin Towers. "War on Terror" was the result of the attack.

Have any of you who mock Eckart Tolle's book read it or have you watched Oprah's A New Earth Webcast? You know, Eckart quotes the bible and Jesus often both in his book and when speaking. He is trying to help people be more spiritual, an adjunct to whichever religion they choose. He is not looking to be a cult-not his intention. It matters not a bit to him if you do not connect with his book. He would just say, "that is ok" and move on with his day.

The Bible is beyond amazing but many will not give it much study or credence. If you will try it look at Isaiah 46 verse 9 and 10. Is that to much to ask.. If you are looking,searching,seeking then don't just blindly follow Oprah, me or anyone. for anyone to get into heaven. it takes a humble heart before God, and coming to the understanding that His Son's death on the cross is the ONLY way to heaven. Knowing him brings peace and feels the void inside. It is sad that Oprah is still searching for truth when she could find it if she only chose to live for him. Its a choice He gives us all. wow, alot of comments from Christians who don't like the book. I'm reading it now and have watched a couple of the web casts and I find them very valuable. Nothing wrong with believing in Jesus or another religion but I really don't think this book contradicts another religious belief. Like the book says, it's more about a spiritual awareness not a new belief or doctrine. God bless..
