Damn, it is so awesome to see that there is so many different endings. I just played this through...first time. And in my version there was no king, only Queen. I spared Loghlaine and gave him the chance to throw the final blow in killing the arcdemon. He died and redeemed himself that way. Of course Allistair went away because I accepted Loghlaine. Zevren tried to kill me..twice so I lost him too..had to kill him. I did not accept Morrigans offer to make a child..and she left. Replay value!
They should have given unique endings to the Archdemon's death, Wizard casting a final spell, a Dwarf axing the Archdemon, an Elf raining down arrows etc.
@DaneFalco YES ! The mage killing the archdemon with some huge electrial burst or something would of been epic. I suppose it could still be done for the PC in a mod if anybody has the inclination and skill to do it.
@Fgundam You need to get alistair and anora to agree before the landsmeet, and then announce it at the landsmeet. you need some persuasion, 3 or 4 if I remember correctly

@AnimeGirl1723 that's why you save MULTIPLE times i saved at the point before the landsmeet to have the final battle with Alistair and another save with Loghain. i also did the same thing with Awakening but it doesn't change much only 2 major places to save
@limitsora69 I did save multiple times and before the landsmeet, but that was with my mage file, so I deleted all my previoius saves to start a human noble one. I'm regretting it now. :P

in order for a leader to protect his subjects from corruption and evil, the leader must understand those things himself, in other words the leader must be evil himself, in this case Anora fits the bill perfectly for that, but in order for her not to be a tyrant, she has Alistair for her king, the 2 of them together make one perfect leader, one evil one good, together the perfect balance, THAT IS why Anora is a good leader but only in pair with Alistair...
Uhh I got a lill question.. I just completed the game on the Xbox 360 as an Human Noble Warrior, and I did the ritual with Morrigan and Alistair got king, and Arone became a lill bitch. And they say Morrigan will be gone after I killed the Archdemon (which I already did) but when I load the game again, I can still choose Morrigan as a party, which I don't really like cuz she supposed to be gone. ( not that I hate her) Is it normal that she is still there? Or is it just a bug, glitch whatever?
@Hallodaars the post-game roaming is for playing the various DLC's and takes place (chronologically) BEFORE the siege of Denerim. Thats why shes still around there.
How DO you get that choice? I killed Loghain for being an absolute douche bag the whole campaign and Queen Anora refused to marry Alistair. I actually sided with Alistair because he's amazing and awesome, but I'd still like to know how to get Alistair and Anora to marry.
@WAXstudios I DID have persuasion or whatever maxed out, it still didn't work, I think it's a super persuasion check (the skill checks that even maxed out have a high failure rate ))
@Cotaqownsu You either need one of 2 things. You need to harden alister. Just google it, because it takes a bit of work. Or, as ive done with my rogues, if you have max persuasion AND an extemely high cunning score(which governs persuasion) you can have an unhardened alister marry anora. But you have to persuade him BEFORE the landsmeet. if you have a hardened alister and you make him agree to marry anora and you spare loghain, hell still leave the party but will marry anora nonetheless.
I was kind of dissapointed that when I had this ending.
Jowan didn't appear at all... Even though i made sure he lived, he returned to the circle, he could be seen going into the final battle, but he's not there to say goodbye to his best friend.
At the end of the game before the battle you can have morrigan complete a ritual with Alistair or the Secret Companion in which the when you kill the Archedemon, nobody will die however there is a morality catch, the spirit of the Old God goes into an unborn baby, Morrigan leaves with it and u nvr see them again. However, u can also die if u dont do the ritual or Alistair will volunteer to die for u
dude your character looks just like a regular grey warden from the game thats pretty kick ass u sually everybody including me have their character with some heavyass armor but i sometimes before i give the final slash to the demon i change my character's clothes lol

@pranker121 You have to be a male human noble. That's the only type that would allow Anora to marry you.
When you talk to her before the landsmeet, bring up the topic of "Perhaps you could have a strong king at your side.." and go from there. Eventually she'll agree to marry you in exchange for her support. At the landsmeet, announce you'll be ruling with Anora and viola.
How did you manage to get Allistair together with Anora? If you kill Loghain, he stays but Anora doesn't want to marry him, if you let Loghain live he will leave your party.....wtf?!
If you have Alistair kill Loghain, she won't marry him, but if your character kills Loghain she won't have a problem with marrying Alistair. At least, that's my understanding. It outlines all possible Landsmeet endings in the wiki, you can get more info there.
I think you can also tell Alistair people are selfish and "harden" him. If you do this you can convince him and Anora to marry each other and then spare Loghain so he can do the final blow.
Alistair leaves your party but he is already on the way to being king and married to Anora at that point-though you may want to try to smooth things over with him/maintain what friendship you have with him afterward as he isn't happy Loghain gets to live (a bit longer).
OMG Im getting no answers anywhere... I am a female human mage. I dont think Alistair is hardened, I was nice as pie to him the entire game. Im not very far I dont think, havnt even gone to the dwarves yet. Is there no way for me to be queen? By the looks of it, you can only be queen if you are a warrior or rogue (Human noble) Or did I get that part wrong? To be his fling on the side does he need to be hardened?
You can't become queen unless you're playing the human noble origin, however if you've hardened Alistair you can make him king and stay at his side as his concubine even if you're a dwarf an elf or a human mage. (If you're already in a relationsship with him that is)

At the end of the game before the battle you can have morrigan complete a ritual with Alistair or the Secret Companion in which the when you kill the Archedemon, nobody will die however there is a morality catch, the spirit of the Old God goes into an unborn baby, Morrigan leaves with it and u nvr see them again. However, u can also die if u dont do the ritual or Alistair will volunteer to die for u

@pranker121 You have to be a male human noble. That's the only type that would allow Anora to marry you.
When you talk to her before the landsmeet, bring up the topic of "Perhaps you could have a strong king at your side.." and go from there. Eventually she'll agree to marry you in exchange for her support. At the landsmeet, announce you'll be ruling with Anora and viola.

How did you manage to get Allistair together with Anora? If you kill Loghain, he stays but Anora doesn't want to marry him, if you let Loghain live he will leave your party.....wtf?!

You have to kill Loghain yourself, you can't let Alistair do it.

If you have Alistair kill Loghain, she won't marry him, but if your character kills Loghain she won't have a problem with marrying Alistair. At least, that's my understanding. It outlines all possible Landsmeet endings in the wiki, you can get more info there.

@Atetel you have to have high coercion. and YOU need to kill loghain, not alistair.

I think you can also tell Alistair people are selfish and "harden" him. If you do this you can convince him and Anora to marry each other and then spare Loghain so he can do the final blow.
Alistair leaves your party but he is already on the way to being king and married to Anora at that point-though you may want to try to smooth things over with him/maintain what friendship you have with him afterward as he isn't happy Loghain gets to live (a bit longer).

OMG Im getting no answers anywhere... I am a female human mage. I dont think Alistair is hardened, I was nice as pie to him the entire game. Im not very far I dont think, havnt even gone to the dwarves yet. Is there no way for me to be queen? By the looks of it, you can only be queen if you are a warrior or rogue (Human noble) Or did I get that part wrong? To be his fling on the side does he need to be hardened?

You can't become queen unless you're playing the human noble origin, however if you've hardened Alistair you can make him king and stay at his side as his concubine even if you're a dwarf an elf or a human mage. (If you're already in a relationsship with him that is)
