@vollystri It isn t a question of beening Asian or white. You know,if someone is able to do something,it means that s another one can do the same, anyway where he come from. After, about beening a geiko, the real problem is to understand their way of thiking, which is difficult excepted if you was born in japan,in a japanese family, living in japan...Cause dancing and singing, you can learn that, i totally respect japanese people, but they aren t god, what they do is accessible to non japanese people

It takes a lot to become a geisha. They are not prostitute like the westerners think. In fact, they are more cultivated than many patrons. Hats off to them.
KpopManiacSFL It would have been an honor to sponsor a geisha, especially a famous one. You clearly have no clue what you're talking about as your speaking and applying modern ethics to something of the past.
@Archangelicque Lol NO WOMAN is content with sharing their husband, just as a man would not like his wife with another man. The wives didn't say anything because the wives did not have rights then, could be kicked out of their homes and shame their family etc. And what would their opinion matter anyways? A wife must be obedient and silent.
Isn't it that they don't have a choise? i watched a film where a girl was sold to a geisha house thingy, i dont think they have a choise but to become a geisha
@StraightUpSmile Well you said "sell people" which can come off as a completely different statement...., but yah, I don't think 4 year olds are sold 2 geisha houses anymore (thank goodness).
Um well that was true in the olden days, I'm assuming you watched Memoirs of a Geisha or something. But today in the modern 21st century, that's illegal. Girl CHOOSE to be Geisha now :/
@dongtian00 memoirs of geisha is no accurate, watch sakuran, Geisha are often confuse with Oira or Tayuu the highest class of courtesan (The Finest Prostitute in the Edo period)
@Saurygirl1: No, that is not true. Read Iwasaki Mineko sama's book and you will find out the truth. Mizuage in the reference that you're making was for Oiran or Tayuu. Your lack of understanding on this is typical for many western people but it simply isn't true
Modern Geisha don't sell their bodies, only the arts. Prostitution became illegal in Japan during the 19th century. Ancient Geisha from the 15th and 18th centuries would've had one Danna (a Sponsor) who she would have romance with for the rest of her life, while the sponsor pays for all her livelihood, sort of like a second wife. The wives of these Danna's didn't mind at all, to be able to sponsor a Geisha is like sponsoring a Ballet artist in the West, its a sign of being a cultured person.
They weren't prostitutes, no. But their "arrangements" with their Danna make all the confusion. It was like marriage with out the marriage. If women think about it really, sometimes we do things in a marriage we wouldn't do else wise for security LOL. If Mamasan says you need to pay for this kimono, you'd better get Danna to do it and you know how. Same way if you want those pair of shoes and you aren't the bread winner. Better barter with sex :p It's not too uncommon if you think about it
@jasperjaskie If it were a girl they could keep it, if it turned out to be a boy she would either have to retire or give it up for adoption, no males can live in a geisha town
@chassitymichelle789 True geisha have never been prostitutes, however, before geisha were "invented" there was a class of woman called an Oiran or Tayuu. She lived in the pleasure quarters and was a high class prostitute of sorts, but only the richest of men could afford her company. Oiran and geisha look similar. Geisha were entertainers, and the first geisha were actually men. Geisha means "art person" and they were no more a prostitute than a ballet dancer of today.
(Part2) Japan tried to have conference with the U.S president before Japan attacked the Hawaii. However, the U.S president ignored Japanese requested. If the U.S had understood the Japanese strategy at that time, the two of communists’ countries, Russia and China, would not have been become such countries which a hypothetical enemy U.S thinks. Moreover, many American would not have died by the wars.”
@undertakerRach Wedemeyer is kind of clueless and too focused on one question. The US realized that Japanese imperialist ambitions were a threat to those of their own and acted accordingly. The Vietnam war could have been avoided with no negative side-effects for the US by simply not starting it.
Also, with the same logic you could argue that the British and French should not have interfered with Hitler as he would then have eliminated the Soviet threat...
@KungPisstank Before the Second Sino-Japanese War started, western countries had many colonies in the world, and westerners had operated an obscurant policy in the colonies. The Japanese only had been had equal treatment from westerners. Therefore, Japan proposed The Racial Equality in Paris Peace Conference in 1919. However, the U.S and British took strong opposition in the conference, so the proposal did not get the approval. We should know this fact.
■(Part1) Albert C. Wedemeyer said, “Finally, the U.S knows which countries should have been fought as their enemy during the war. After the WW2 finished, the Korea War and Vietnam War happened. As Japan thought the Manchuria in China and area of Korea were very important to defend from communist countries. That’s why Japan had controlled them before they defeated.
It would be a mistake to deny the sexual aspect of geisha, but as usual western eyes overemphasize the sexual aspect of geisha at the cost of missing the point.
@mafurock33 It's just fancy sex slavery that culturalized to keep itself alive. Hence. 13 year old girls were sold off to old men. After being fed "this is normal" their whole childhood. Time has just turned it into a physical endurance attraction. HALF the girls making a choice to do this. Do it for the promises of celebrity status. "Meeting" celebrities. Westerners don't miss the point. They just don't sugar coat it as graceful. Men are not saints. Race doesn't change that.It was rape to kids.
@VexSocietyThrone While I agree what you are describing is horrible, I do not that that is the right way to describe this situation... and that judgement is a bit harsh. There were elements that westerners (modern ones) disagree with morally, but none of that is part of the geisha world anymore. And it certainly wasn't the focus of being a geisha, even back then. Geisha started out as musicians when there were *real* courtesans and prostitutes; they have always been seperate from that.
So true. My Japanese friend is a geisha, she strongly disagree sexual aspect of Geisha told in this video.
She also did not deny that some bad Geisha owners pushed Geishas to do it by taking advantage of some reasons and it's a rare thing. Same as massage parlor. Not all massage parlor provide special massage.

2:30 "fulfill male fantasies" ??? :-O Virgins ? ---> fulfill ??? Yooo... is anybody out there ? What's going on in your heads ? "Pure" ? These 16-17 yrs old kids, tiwsting their brains with semi-porn magazines.... called PURE ??? Oh my Lord !!!
Are you nuts ? What's going on here anyway ? Who's the m*** f*** who tries to affect childish Purity, by mixing it with DIRTY INTERPRETATIONS ??? How long we have to face LIES ??? How long you'll laugh about Virginity and not Praise it ?
but mineko tells in her own book and in lawsuits on how golden wrote so much of her lie and got it to look like a geiko was a simple prostitute, somethin she clarley is not... ther are tons off movies like this one on the net, spreading false stuff...
This "documentary" is a bit stupid as it makes the maikos and geikos look like simple prostitus "filling out male fanatasy" maiko and geiko are to fulfill theyre own fantasy, and too give modern day Japan a break from the busy life. they bring culture and traditions to theyre clients who can be both men and women sometimes even children that are with theyre parents.. also thers a rule that not anybody can come, only regular clients who are knowed by either the geiko/maiko okasan okiya or ochaya.
@20PINKluvr yes there are a great deal off cities having them. In Kyoto the minoriety is and theyre called geiko and maiko is the apprentice...
In tokyo theyre called geisha, and hangyoku is the apprentice..
the morst traditional is in Kyoto tho. ayatem is really diferent in Tokyo... in each city there are different districts. in Kyotot there are 5 kogais (districts) Gion Kobu -Gion Higashi -Pontocho -Miyagawacho - Kamishichiken.
I think geishas are beautiful! And it must be an honor to become full geisha! Wow. But that's just me. I'm fasinated by Japanese anything! Their culture, language, houses, anime, anything
feel bad for those girls who chose to be a geshia. i would keep my virginity to the man that i love. not to an old man... and im asian but not japanese, but i think this is just wrong.
@5foreverYunJae Geiko/geisha nor maiko sell theyre virginity or body, they sell theyre art. a maiko dosnt need to become a geiko (go thrue erikae) she can leave the okiya and kogai and go back to normal school marry and get children. some geshas in tokyo have children and still practise to be geisha.
Geiko can entertain both man and children, by dance, drinking games, serve meals, serve sake or vine or beer. they dont fulfill male fantasy they give theyre clients a dream world a place to relax.
@SauryGirl1 I've seen a movie about a girl who became a geshia and gave her virginity to a doctor. she was nearly rapped before because of perverted men who wanted more than just "a dream world a place to relax" and she also was being auditioned like a toy. at 1:10 the man says "you're a virgin right?" *she nods head and laughs* "are you really?" *he looks down* wow... haahahahaahaha >.>
i know what a maiko is and a geiko, and the difference between the maiko and geiko, and the geiko and yujio/oiran/tayu. I have read a numbers of books and seen a numbers off movies..
in Tokyo geisha can marry and have children... and when u say leave it were it belongs in history its just like ur sating that we also shud let war cintinue, because war is history.
@SauryGirl1 what i meant, is that it isn't to healthy being obsessed by these fuck up codes of conduct. It is better to live a regular life. And war is something else, i'm talking about traditions here.
@bosnia91 Everyone are obsessed abt something, and ts not obsession being aware off keeping traditions.. theese are not fucks up codes off conduct.. these are artist, these are traditions. these are a lifestyle a profession.
@TiasAhlgreN This SauryGirl1 is a Jap bitch talking out of her ass. Don't listen to her people. She's lying so that Japan's pathetic reputation isn't spread. Geishas were prostitutes who sold their body. talkingforever225 is partially correct. It's a well known fact that many Japanese people considered Geisha, ART of prostitution, to be a way of culture and lucrative method. They'd bent over and let people fuck their ass as long as it is for money. Jap women are gold diggers BTW.
@NukeJAPANAgain Woww... you are so ignorant... As many okiyas were closed after WW II, most geishas left their homes since japanese government thought they were "useless", When american soldiers entered Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo, many prostitutes dressed as geishas to catch the foreigners' attention, and that is the origin of your... confusion. "Gei" means "art", "geisha" is artist. The mizuage situation was "common" as japanese people after war were poor, but now it is no longer used.
@NukeJAPANAgain Dont u ever call be a bitch again, u dont know me, and to say something like that without a valid reason is not acceptable...
I dont lie, i never lie.
and when u say japanese women are gold diggers then u dscriminate.
im not japanese.
and for the record listen to nukejapanagain, hes right, prostitutes dressed up like geisha, and called themselfs gee sha girls. not geisha, not geiko, not maiko but gee sha girls.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@NukeJAPANAgain Stop spitting your ignorance everywhere. You know only the bad and not the good. You never saw the joys of life. Also, she has "saury" in her name, NOW you can make an assumption on what race she is.
@SauryGirl1 what movies or books would you recommend??? I've seen memoirs of a geisha, and i know that its not really accurate and was made just as a hollywood type film, but i want to learn more about geisha culture, so are there any other movies or books that you thought were really good?
Thers one movie I will recomend its called Hanaikusa and is based on Mineko Iwasakis life, from she enter the okiya. then its the youtube documentaries both on japanese and english, Follow Kikuyus journey in Becoming a geisha, watch to become a maiko (japanese) the male geisha of asakusa (tokyo) Asakusa geisha.
@ALXVid101 when it comes too books I would recomend Mineko Iwasakis own book geisha a life/geisha of gion. Autobiography of a Geisha by Sayo Masuda. And a geishas journey :my life as a Kyoto apprentice by Komomo. geisha By Liza Dalby is also very good..
there is also books regarding the life off Japans Oirans iff your intrested, and also the kimono and outfit of maiko and geiko..
If I were Japanese I wud certanly become maiko :) then Geiko.
i hate how this video makes geishas sounds like prostitutes. when the narrator said "male fantasy" that was just wrong and insulting to the culture. The word geisha means artist not whore!
Japan is always good at lying and deceiving. Geishas are prostitutes and their kimono dresses were specially made so that it's easy to have sex without difficulties taking clothes off and putting it back on.
@YanZhao8 Not at all, kimono were not made specialy for prostitutes, and nowadays geisha are not prostitutes, kimono was for men and women, as the dress were made for women and trousers for men they are hundred years in Western. Before western people came in Japan,it was the only clothe( excepted other style like hakama for example but its remains typically japanese) Then it s impossible that the style of kimono of geisha was created for prostitutes. If you want to make the difference:...
@YanZhao8 a prostitute with a kimono put the bow of her obi in front of her, contrary to a geisha who have it in her back. ( it s more practical and faster for a prostitute to make the bow in front of her after having sex) But it s not "easy " as you said to take kimono off several times a day. I practiced japanese dance with a kimono, not yukata, and it s long and tiring to dress with, even if they are more used to wear it.(moreover they have more heavy kimono )
Typically PC to have a feminist commenting on a tradition which has never had feminists taking part. Some women (and men) actually enjoy a reserved, calm woman that is not agressive. Another amazing topic spoilt by a feminist.
well that is not true, for a courtesan or a oiran/tayu it might be true because her obi (waist belt over the kimono) is with the knot in the front.. it takes hours to dress a geisha, so its not any easy let me tell you..
and again geikos are not prostitutes, theyre artist.
I don't see any problem with this if they are not sold for sex and they can make a living doing this then it is probably doing more to uplift them than oppressing them. What man would not like to spend an evening with a ppretty girl
Lesley Downer may have studied geisha for her books, but she came with her own preconceived notions about what a geisha was/is. She is not an expert on geisha. All she did was try to find backing for her own ideas of what geisha were and are and then publish them, thinking that she was right.
@astrogeek15 well, many men who paid to be entertained by geishas came there to have a "noble" entertainment with dance, music, talks about art, literature etc. Many men went there to have so-to-say informal entertainment with many "stupid" jokes, awkwardnesses and the showed one was one of these...
InJapan small lips has always reflected beauty and sensuality, while the white skin ment that a person was rich. The maiko and geiko paint theyr face because of tradition, before when the room only were lit by candles when a geiko or maiko entered the room all would see here white face it would reflect in the light.
there is three stages before becoming geiko, shikomi1-3 years minarai1month maiko5-6 years so you see, to become a maiko you have to go trough much more learning than a doctor/lawyer
Geisha were never prostitutes, Oiran were high class courtesans.
But before world war 2 maikos went trough mizuage, the selling of a maikos virginity, such thing is no longer practiced. A geisha sels her art not her body. A geisha have the right to say no. and most people that are entertained by gesha or maiko know that theyre theire to entertain, to pretend, not ever to go to bed with a customer. Geisha was and are not courtesains, theyre artist. The first geishaes were male.
@shigura12 I am glad my comment was at hand and explaining :)
but as i have read now, there are some ongoing discussion on whether a maiko sold her virginity called mizuage, I dont think she did, i can refere to Mineko Iwasakis book.
So for that my comment was a bit wrongly. exept that they were never prostitutes :)
@SauryGirl1 In fact, before the law against prostitution, geisha had sometimes sex with their costumers. Because when the owner of an okiya bought a girl, this one had to pay off this huge debt, for several years to buy her liberty. During those years, they weren´t free and had to obey the owner of the okiya. If the owner was in need of money, she could ask one of her geisha to have sex. It was also a way to pay off more quickly, like for the Mizuage (Maiko had their 1st sexual initiation...
@shizukagozen777 as ive told before, the muzuage when it comes to a maiko is not theire first sexual experience, mizuag has sevral meanings. Mineko Iwasaki explains in her book.
@SauryGirl1 I have already read her book.Even if YOU say that it isn t their first sexual experience, you re wrong!Do you think men would pay thousands yen for the "first sexual experience" of a maiko if they know it isn t true??You have misunderstood that s all. And if i remember well,Mineko was lucky: she didn t make her mizuage cause of the law against prostitution which began just before she starts beeing a geiko(i don t say she doesn t know anything). Tell me if i make a mistake about that.
@shizukagozen777 IM NOT INTO ARGUE. But I mean your wrong. Mizuage is a word that can be transalted into different meanings. when it comes too the geiko world its ment as a word for extra money that is coming in but not thrue the selling off the virginity.
Ever since thevery begnning there has been a difference between geiko and oiran the oiran and geiko were at the same parties, but geiko and maiko performed diffrent forms off arts while the oiran took the sexual with it..
@SauryGirl1 Mizuage means To make raise the water.Me too i don t want to argue, but i don t have choice!I know the difference between a Geiko?a Maiko and an Oiran,no need to think you are the only one.I have read many books, and articles on internet, watched many films. In the opinion of Liza Dalby (even if for me she never went a geisha),Mizuage was, originally, used to call the goods' unloadings from the barges.Afterwards,it was more like "trade incomes"and was particularly used to the pleasure...
@SauryGirl1...districts,in the mizu shoubai,or fluvial activity. In that districts the prostitutes where considerated making part of the mizushoubai, the amounts given for their services were written in a register called mizu-age chou.As the prostitutes' incomes where depended on sex, mizuage and sex were closely related."To make raise the water" has an erotic connotation(it s certain) and most of people think it has something to do with the action to prime, talking about sex of course.I ve tryed...
@SauryGirl1 ...to translate the text of L.Dalby the best i can.I hope i didn t make so much mistakes and i hope you understand what i mean: even if mizuage has different definitions, nowadays it keeps a sexual meaning and people who knows this word, know that it means the selling of the virginity of a maiko.I don t say Geiko and Maiko are prostitutes but it s like that:before the law against prostitution it was a rite of passage to adulthood. If you don t accept that it s your problem, not mine.
@animezirow Geisha have never been sex workers, they were the celibate alternative to the Oiran who were the courtesans of the day. In fact, the first geisha were men. Geisha girls however, (pronounced gee-sha rather than gey-shah) were prostitutes who served allied troops during the occupation of Japan. These women were not skilled like a real geisha, couldn't sing, dance, perform tea ceremony - all the basic requisites of a true geisha. Of course, the Americans didn't know the difference!
@shonaisapunkrocker I agree with what you said about gentlemen, that s why the okaasan ( the mother of the okiya ) always chose someone old enough for thge maiko, cause she needs someone tender, with experience and not someone rude as a young man. But a man cannot make the mizuage freely, that s an honor to "win" the virginity of a future geiko... That s why they had to pay for !
@SauryGirl1 ...to become a geisha, cause they couldn t become geisha if they weren t considerated as a real woman). The man who participated to the mizuage had to pay for this honor, and of course this money was used to reduce the debt of the girl. After the law against prostitution, geisha couldn t have sex anymore. That s why,now they are ONLY payed for their art, even though they had no choice to do sex, before the 2nd world war,if they wanted to leave the okiya and their status of slave (my opinion)
@SauryGirl1 And i'm sure that you we're present back then in the "oldskool" right?
Jesus, wake the fuck up. They sell their bodies. Men are to be intrigued by good looks accompanied with flirting techniques (example of indirect flirting technique; learn to dance. Learn to snap jokes.
WAKE THE FUCK UP, honestly. All these Japanese men we're horny to max. IT'S THE COUNTRY WITH ONE OF THE WORLD'S HIGHEST PEDOFILE COUNT. And Geishas are to be somewhat small, and innocently happy and youthful. BYE.
@TiasAhlgreN All ill say is that your language seems so chiildish now, and its really mean to say those curse words. and im not oldschool at all.. this is abt the geikos and maikos not peadophiles.
This is abt the muzuage also named the water busniss it has ben refered to as the extra money a maiko wud make and not from her sexual experiences..
Oh goodness!
This is truly fascinating and interesting. I didn't know that geisha had anything to do with the "Serve the man, he's boss" and prostituation and stuff. I'm surprised! I thought geisha was something peaceful and beautiful, but this seems plain wrong! Poor girls...

I have not seen "Geisya" ,too.
Parhaps all my family have not seen "Geisya".
Im very surprised because this is the first time I saw the girl who want to be "Geisya".
After watching this video, you foreign people will have wrong imformation of Japan.
It is so sad but "Geisya" is not important in japanese cuiture.
And "Geisya" is old culture. Now no girl want to be "Geisya".
"Geisya" is brink of a cliff.

Archangelicque 5 months ago
@Archangelicque Lol NO WOMAN is content with sharing their husband, just as a man would not like his wife with another man. The wives didn't say anything because the wives did not have rights then, could be kicked out of their homes and shame their family etc. And what would their opinion matter anyways? A wife must be obedient and silent.
KpopManiacSFL 4 months ago
I knew a girl who wanted to be a geisha he said to no one in particular.
HamadaEizan 5 months ago
They weren't prostitutes, no. But their "arrangements" with their Danna make all the confusion. It was like marriage with out the marriage. If women think about it really, sometimes we do things in a marriage we wouldn't do else wise for security LOL. If Mamasan says you need to pay for this kimono, you'd better get Danna to do it and you know how. Same way if you want those pair of shoes and you aren't the bread winner. Better barter with sex :p It's not too uncommon if you think about it

chassitymichelle789 8 months ago

Moreover, many American would not have died by the wars.”
undertakerRach 9 months ago
@undertakerRach Wedemeyer is kind of clueless and too focused on one question. The US realized that Japanese imperialist ambitions were a threat to those of their own and acted accordingly. The Vietnam war could have been avoided with no negative side-effects for the US by simply not starting it.
Also, with the same logic you could argue that the British and French should not have interfered with Hitler as he would then have eliminated the Soviet threat...
KungPisstank 9 months ago
@KungPisstank Before the Second Sino-Japanese War started, western countries had many colonies in the world, and westerners had operated an obscurant policy in the colonies. The Japanese only had been had equal treatment from westerners. Therefore, Japan proposed The Racial Equality in Paris Peace Conference in 1919. However, the U.S and British took strong opposition in the conference, so the proposal did not get the approval. We should know this fact.
undertakerRach 9 months ago
@KungPisstank Can you explain about Japanese imperoalsist ambitions?
undertakerRach 9 months ago
■(Part1) Albert C. Wedemeyer said, “Finally, the U.S knows which countries should have been fought as their enemy during the war. After the WW2 finished, the Korea War and Vietnam War happened. As Japan thought the Manchuria in China and area of Korea were very important to defend from communist countries. That’s why Japan had controlled them before they defeated.

It would be a mistake to deny the sexual aspect of geisha, but as usual western eyes overemphasize the sexual aspect of geisha at the cost of missing the point.
mafurock33 10 months ago 6
@mafurock33 It's just fancy sex slavery that culturalized to keep itself alive. Hence. 13 year old girls were sold off to old men. After being fed "this is normal" their whole childhood. Time has just turned it into a physical endurance attraction. HALF the girls making a choice to do this. Do it for the promises of celebrity status. "Meeting" celebrities. Westerners don't miss the point. They just don't sugar coat it as graceful. Men are not saints. Race doesn't change that.It was rape to kids.
VexSocietyThrone 9 months ago
@VexSocietyThrone While I agree what you are describing is horrible, I do not that that is the right way to describe this situation... and that judgement is a bit harsh. There were elements that westerners (modern ones) disagree with morally, but none of that is part of the geisha world anymore. And it certainly wasn't the focus of being a geisha, even back then. Geisha started out as musicians when there were *real* courtesans and prostitutes; they have always been seperate from that.
SolitaryKiwi 9 months ago
@mafurock33

If you want to make the difference:...
shizukagozen777 1 year ago 2
@YanZhao8 a prostitute with a kimono put the bow of her obi in front of her, contrary to a geisha who have it in her back. ( it s more practical and faster for a prostitute to make the bow in front of her after having sex) But it s not "easy " as you said to take kimono off several times a day. I practiced japanese dance with a kimono, not yukata, and it s long and tiring to dress with, even if they are more used to wear it.(moreover they have more heavy kimono )

The geisha is an alias in Tokyo. Similarly, the maiko is in Kyoto.
Thus, the name is different in the region.
However, it is not a prostitute. Old is an entertainer who has the patron.
There is no patron because it is a corporate organization now.
It is one side, and the Yujyo is a prostitute. For instance, it is Yoshiwara etc.
TOP of Prostitute is called Oiran. The yujyo disappeared with the antiprostitution edict.

It was also a way to pay off more quickly, like for the Mizuage (Maiko had their 1st sexual initiation...
shizukagozen777 1 year ago 55
@shizukagozen777 as ive told before, the muzuage when it comes to a maiko is not theire first sexual experience, mizuag has sevral meanings. Mineko Iwasaki explains in her book.
Read that one...
SauryGirl1 1 year ago
@SauryGirl1 I have already read her book.Even if YOU say that it isn t their first sexual experience, you re wrong!Do you think men would pay thousands yen for the "first sexual experience" of a maiko if they know it isn t true??You have misunderstood that s all. And if i remember well,Mineko was lucky: she didn t make her mizuage cause of the law against prostitution which began just before she starts beeing a geiko(i don t say she doesn t know anything). Tell me if i make a mistake about that.
shizukagozen777 10 months ago 5

@shizukagozen777 Your explanation makes me wonder if you're just going off that movie, Memoirs of a Geisha...
Of course, I don't know much of it myself besides what I've read off wikipedia. :P

@animezirow Umhhh... I m sorry, i don t understand what you re talking about. ^^' Explain your idea please.

@shizukagozen777 The mizuage was not something to be sold! You had to earn the right through being a fine and trustworthy gentlemen!
shonaisapunkrocker 8 months ago
@shonaisapunkrocker I agree with what you said about gentlemen, that s why the okaasan ( the mother of the okiya ) always chose someone old enough for thge maiko, cause she needs someone tender, with experience and not someone rude as a young man. But a man cannot make the mizuage freely, that s an honor to "win" the virginity of a future geiko... That s why they had to pay for !
shizukagozen777 8 months ago

BYE.

This is abt the muzuage also named the water busniss it has ben refered to as the extra money a maiko wud make and not from her sexual experiences..
And i dont like your tone.
