  • " warren buffet he's not nearly as smart as as i am, wait a minute, as i thought he was" lol

  • Voting for a president makes no difference. The president has to give up US citizenship while in office to serve the interests of the international entities that loaned the US money. So no president has the power to make any real change. Peter Schiff is about as smart as my 30 kg silver bar. Check it out on my 2 vids

  • Okay, for all who embaressed themselves with uneducated comments: "America" has been listed on the stock exchange as a company. It is a company and the president is CEO. The powers that be ceized power through the Uniform Commercial Code. Nobody disputed their power when they gave public notice. So it became an agreement.

  • The problem is that governments are involved with the market.

  • I'm sad that Schiff is losing in the senate polls. Well still I advise everyone to support him in this race, because he has the right ideas.

  • Unfortunately, government isn't the way to espouse libertarian principles anymore, because government has grown far too big too be challenged by a few people. We need a complete mobilisation of the population through protests, demonstrations and tax evasion. If we refused to pay our taxes, the government would collapse (or perhaps just print more money). Revolution isn't just the property of the Marxists. Libertarians are the true freedom fighters and revolutionaries.

  • What should be done is the formation of a union for businesses in America. Meaning we tell them if you don't have more business friendly policies. We'll shut our doors for 1 day and we wont pay anyone. Also we'll cut wages and just do things differently. Just to show how important we are.

  • Very Randite! Have you ever read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand? The 'innovators and wealth creators' strike because they are under appreciated by the society they provide so much benefit too. You are very perceptive and radical for a 15 year old. Don't take this the wrong way, but if you improve upon your grammar, you'll receive a more positive reception on youtube. Some of the attacks posted to your profile page are just vicious.

  • Well I'm studying Milton Friedmen and Gary Johnson right now. Now I'm probably the one who says it the most about how we penalize productivity and hard work. Getting rid of the minimum wage I'm always flexible on that issue. And why do you say I'm a radical and perceptive for my age?

  • As a 19 year old, I speak from experience... most politically active teenagers are left wingers because it is seen as trendy. To be a libertarian or a supporter of capitalism is genuine radicalism, unlike the socialist trends of youth. Not all teenagers are socialists, but in my experience, most of them are, because they don't have any money to spend. Once they start to earn a wage, they quickly become opposed to the government taking 50% of their salary to spend on welfare benefits.

  • Yah I mean almost anyone in my school smart enough to know anything about politics is a Socialist. I mean I'm not into politics just for trend, but for an actual career when I'm older. Yet it's very difficult to find someone with our beliefs that are our age. And yah even the Republican kids are pro-life religious nuts. I hate catholic school.

  • Yeah... I used to be a socialist, I was even geared towards Marxism, but the financial crisis turned me towards libertarianism because I knew that we didn't have free markets. We need them.

I do believe in God. Pascal's Wager is a good reason to believe in Him, though my belief is more personal rather than opportunistic! I am pro-choice as a libertarian. Overpopulation of the planet is a problem, and abortion is one easy way of trying to control it.

  • Welcome to the Libertarian Party. We all want individual freedoms, prosperity, and civil liberties. Glad you say that the government is incapable of doing this. Let's give Ron Paul a real shot at winning the 2012 election.

  • People like us have a duty to take the intellectual fight to the teenage socialists and to expose their muddled, confused and hypocritical ideology. Socialism is dangerous. Have you ever read the 'Road to Serfdom' by Friedrich Hayek? I highly recommend it. It is a stunning invective against socialism, economic planning and collectivism. Hayek wrote an essay called 'The Use of Knowledge in Society,' which is available for free over the internet. You should read that, it is very informative.

  • I've never read it,but I know what it's about. You see youth feels the need to rebel and they think there right, but there not.

  • Libertarianism is a form of rebellion, because we rebel against government. (am I right in assuming you're a libertarian?) We rebel against state intervention in the economy, social and economic collectivism and the idea that a central planning committee can organise economic activity better than the spontaneous order and uncoordinated decision making of millions of consumers in the market place. In a market economy, the consumer is King.

  • Well that's what I've being talking about. The Socialist believe that government can solve all there problems. Yet they don't realize the real cost of it.

  • It's 1am here in jolly old England, so I am going to bed. If you have any questions about libertarianism or economics (my hobby; I view economics with the fervour with which a sex addict views pornography), I shall be happy to answer, and point you in the direction of some libertarian websites, such as the Von Mises Institute.

  • Sure man I'll talk when you want. When you wake me up send me a message.

  • I started my intellectual convergence with libertarianism by reading 'Capitalism and Freedom' by Milton Friedman. He has a great deal of alacrity in his written expressions, and he was one of the most perspicacious advocates of free markets during the 20th century. I highly recommend 'Human Action' by the sagacious Ludwig Von Mises. It is a 1000+ plus treatise on Austrian economics, which puts forward a normative view of economics based on the science of human action, known as praxeology.

  • Understand it's the churches and the preachers that are corrupt, not the Bible. Especially the Catholic church. The Bible points out numerous times that what the Catholic church is doing is wrong. Roman Catholicism is an advanced form of Paganism and the Pope is mocking God with what he does. If you want people to understand Libertarians, you must explain the difference between Keynesian economics and Austrian economics and you yourself must understand the difference as well.

  • See it is large Corporations that liberals are against and it's government that conservatives are against in a nut shell. Both are right, it is Corporatism (not free market Capitalism) that is the problem along with monetary policies of central banks, and big government that is all contributing to our demise. Economics is key to understand who the problem makers are, and the value of our currency (purchasing power) is the best way for laymen to understand what you are talking about.

  • Well said.

  • totally agree with you peter..

  • Give a few dollars to Schiff's campaign before they become worthless!

  • Peter Schiff > you

  • @crypghost

Your just upset - because Schiff is not biased in favor of United States Rhetoric.

He is making money internationally, so he doesn't need to sweet talk you, and that pisses you off royally, which is true, but a perfectly reasonable reaction.

  • ?, you are a little scared person, I feel sorry for you

  • Obama should've confided in the advice of Peter Schiff rather than Warren Buffett.

  • OK, I agree with what PS has to say, but, is it smart to follow his investment strategy? What will his run for senate do to impact EPC?

  • Damn, I should have bought gold at 1k two months ago when Schiff said too.

Now its already too late. Its 1163 right now. A bubble for sure.

  • not even close moron... the only way for gold to drop is for interest rates to rise... its not a bubble its a reaction. The only way for the reaction to cease is to fix the action. Thats the beauty of investing in gold

  • No, you are the moron.

  • In light of the recent events, we can safely conclude that you are a moron, indeed.

    You just got owned, fool.

  • It's not a bubble per se-it's a reaction to the falling dollar. whenever fiat currencies collapse, physical commodities go up, and precious metals are the ultimate commodity.

  • just like americas bullshit wallstreet ponzi scheme, give me your money and i can make more playing horses than you can on the "market"

  • its just a flowing river of logic! god damn he is right

  • I'd say your misguided view about govt intervention shows that you don't understand the fundamentals of what Peter is saying.

MORE trust in the government? You must be kidding.

  • Thanks Peter. Your audio would be better if you bought a directional microphone.

  • Will you marry me??

  • I have come to the conclusion that either the administration has no fiscal clue or they are intentionally strangling the life out of our economy, for what purpose I havent yet decide.

  • Read what mustang607 wrote below.

  • I lived in Connecticut, over in New Britain. I hope Schiff wins the senate seat.

  • Love this guy!

  • Obama needs the free market producers suppressed so that they can be blamed for failing so that his final push to socialism can be forced in unfettered.

  • December 1st Moneybomb for Peter Schiff!

    Pledge here: Doddproof (.) com

  • The continental went to zero and so did the confederate dollar and the greenback of the 1860's. So 3 United states paper currencies have already gone to zero.
