Josiah is a talented kid, but not up to par with many of the contestants that did make it into the top 24. And it's obvious that had be made it, he would ended up surpassing a lot of them thanks to sympathy votes and how "lovable" he is. So I was very relieved he didn't make it.

@psyche0626 pretty good point you have actually. However, I agree with you that he isn't up to par with that specific niche of singing...the rest of them are certainly not up to par with the specific style he belonged in...that's songwriter/musician/singer. He's doing good now I hear.

I think Josiah would have had an unfair advantage over the other contestants.

He was shown so much during Hollywood week he was more well known than the others.

I think they made the right choice in not letting him in.

But Kyle Ensley should've made it.

Kyle Ensley or Josiah should've gotten that last spot. It's about who can go far and who's entertaining, and no offense to Colton, but he was just a filler spot, they knew that he wouldn't get past the first couple shows.

Josiah Leming did not make it because he is arrogant & he does not know how to play the game. AI made it known that they are looking at the personality of the contestant and that they don't take arrogant people. Josiah should stop crying to get what he wants. He should just be nice and work hard with the band & the music coach that are given to him.

Josiah is the most sincere crier in the history of MAerican IDol.. I feel so sorry for him.. but just like it was stated earlier it is a singing competition and Josiah had a little to work on.

I can see it from him that he is over-confident. He should come back next year and if his family with him would be a very positive sign get through top 12. Undeniably he has a big potential.

I feel sorry for the kid but at the end of the day it is a singing competition and he is not a strong vocalist. That's not to say he isn't a talented, expressive and original artist - there is potential here. He cracked under pressure and that's because his personal circumstances seem awful ie, living in his car, and being on his own at such a young age. It would be nice if as a result of this programme someone gives him a hand to get his life in a better place, so he could develop his talent.

As far I as I am concerned he can sing way better than some of the top 24 example Amanda Overmyer, now that is someone I thought should have left along time ago
