Ramba Ral is one of the only "true pilots" in the entire Gundam Universe. Heero Yui is another.

They both understand that in order to beat your enemy, you must defeat yourself first. Then, you will realise the true meaning of war: there is no enemy.

Ral knew this, and demonstrated his knowledge by defeating Amuro with his dying breath.

Andy Waltfeld from SEED is basen on Ramba (SEED is pretty much a remake of MSG) and in the Japanese version, Andy's enemy Sahib Ashmar has the same seiyuu as Ramba.

Heine is based on and voiced by Takanori Nishikawa (the singer known as T.M.Revolution) who happens to have a mobile suit called "GOUF Ignited" which references the original Gouf and Nishikawa's song "ignited", the SEED Destiny OP song.

First of all it's Heero, second of all both Hikaru Midorikawa and Mark Hildreth epically fail as musical artists you just can not compare them to Nami Tamaki and T.M. Revolution I don't even consider putting them into that category so regrettably Heero Robot Yuy lives because he's not voiced by a real musical artist. Heero doesnt die because of the ultimate plot armor of the fortune telling machine in his Gundam keeping him alive which to me beats Jesus Yamato being the ultimate test tube baby.

he was loyal to zeon deikum, the zabis knew that. the doms he requested were never delivered but still he had to capture the white base. even if his loyalty wasnt with the zabis he was still fighting for the colonies

the mission was suicide from the very start, he was already badly wounded, and (this is my theory, not a canon thing) he knew the zabis would find a way to get rid of him sending him to the frontlines without propper equipment
