I prefer to buy Panasonic SDR-H40 camera that can record on the hardrive and SD HC, has only a 42x zoom, but has a larger sensor size (1 / 6 ") so the video is better. SDR-S26 has a small sensor size (1 / 8 ")

I get nothing but jaggie edges around objects if I move the camera or the object is moving and I'm holding the cam still.

What mode are you using? I've tried the iA mode on/off, but still get motion blur (well, jagged edges around objects if they move).

hmm you could try going to the settings and adjusting it in more depth. Also if you have a tripod then that can really help.

I figured it out. WMP was using Adobe's MPEG-2 codec and it looked terrible. I lowered Adobe's codec merit with Gspot so WMP would use the Microsoft codec and the movies look fantastic now.
