The Bush administration has blurred the purpose of our troops so much it's hard to even now what they are supposed to be doing. Even before the start of this war I knew that our troops woudl be stuck policing this country and having every crazy mother F running at them with a bomb up their ass. I don't think people are against the troops even if they are against Bush. Even I think that this war has turned sour. Your opinions will neither support nor harm the deployed. The video is cheesy, but the intentions were good (yeah, the slippery slope of good intentions and paving the way to hell). No, these people aren't forced into the military, but it is a noble choice to serve one's country, and should be respected as such regardless of leadership (no leadership is without its faults and corruption). Anybody who pays taxes supports this war so whether your toting an M-16 or minimum wage job your helping.

Supportin our military is a worthwhile cause when they are fighting for a good reason. I don't think anyone can with out doubt say that our troops in Iraq are there for a good reason. In fact I'm not even sure which reason they are there for anymore. Was it to protect us from imenant attack? becuase sadam's a bad guy? There is terrorist groups in Iraq? If there was any purpose to this war I think more people would support the troops more.

Finally, Saddam was a blatant threat to U.S. Security at the time, and Bush didnt want to screw up and let him go free. Clinton was offered Osama Bin Laden before 9/11 and he refused. BAD CHOICE. I don't think people are against the troops even if they are against Bush. Even I think that this war has turned sour. Your opinions will neither support nor harm the deployed. It's pointless tell people to support our troops. It's just a cliché and bumper stickers do about as much good for the war as they do to change people's mind about religion, just don't take the military (and all the troops that comprise it) for granted.

The video is cheesy, but the intentions were good (yeah, the slippery slope of good intentions and paving the way to hell). No, these people aren't forced into the military, but it is a noble choice to serve one's country, and should be respected as such regardless of leadership (no leadership is without its faults and corruption). Anybody who pays taxes supports this war so whether your toting an M-16 or minimum wage job your helping.
