i dont think you are supposed to have the oil burner on for more than 25 minutes. thats what it said on the little instructions it came with. it also said that with my other oil burner i have bought. i think thats why its burning and having a burnt smell i only have it on for 20 min and get a strong smell with no burning and the smells lasts i dont use water either. oh and i have the little owl too love him hes so cute.
