Also, in the movie She sings in english Boy & Girl, while the recorded version is japanese. It is interesting to hear like a singer renders in different way the same musical phrase when in two different languages. Akiko Wada is a great addition to my musical preferences.
Please, could you trascribe the title in occidental characters, and tell me which piece is on the other side of this disk? Wanted to buy, but can't understand which is the other piece. Ragards from Italy.
Thank you for visiting my account. The title is "sasurai no blues" that means the blues of wandering. The title of the other side is "otoko to onna no rock" that means the rock'n'roll for man and woman. I suppose that it's difficult to buy, beause these number is so old, released in 1970.
I have found a copy but wanted to be sure of the pieces. I like both this one you have uploaded and the other, which I think it is the one she sings during the movie with the following japanese title here on youtube 「女番長 野良猫ロック」より ボーイ・アンド・ガール 和田アキ子. I have managed to buy all Meiko Kaji lps on ebay, maybe I'll try to take something of Akiko Wada, she seems a very good performer to my ears.

同じく挿入曲で使われてたＢ面の男と女のロックもいい曲でしたね。歌詞がすごく好きでした。カラオケに入ってないのが残念です。

この歌は発売されたときに「いい」と思って以来ずーっと好きな歌です。
サビの部分がたまらなくいいです。ちなみに自分も和田さんと同じ4月10日生まれ。
さだまさしさんとか 永六輔さんとか ちょっと男と女が逆転したような人が多いのかな。
加山雄三さんは一日遅れの4月11日生まれ。加山さん危なかったですねー。
