A successful cinematographer always will be the one who changes what's usual. I agree with the "arms" mistake, it's Yates fault... Well, It always happens in many different movies.

When i went to go see this at the midnight premiere i instantly loved it how the camera slowly moves thru the clouds revealing the dementors looking chillingly at the castle with the sun in the background and combine it with chilling music you know some serious shit is about to go down

I don't understand why people compare Harry potter with twilight. they are two entirely different storylines. They are in no way relevent to eachother at all. It makes no sense. You can have your opioin on which is better, but it's like comparing mustard and chocolate.....two totally different things.

I absolutely loved the opening of this movie and is one of the reasons I'm such a big fan of Yates and of course of Rickman who just emanates intensity. I wasn't sure at this point what the deal was but I knew it was serious , serious shit. That image of him in the doorway gave me chills and still does. I love the way he billows softly like a reed in the wind; it's so beautiful
