  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I am also straight but i have alot of gay friends and i've been trying to make this same argument! especially about the separation of church and state. i completely agre with these views! and i officially love you! :P

  • Thankyou! It's awesome to see John Q straightguy stand up for us.

  • I myself - do not understand what the big deal is.....anyone can g to an Elvis Impersonator and gt married. Any 2 hetero strangers can get drunk, marry and get over 1400 federal rights handed to them....but a gay cpl who've been together for yrs cant???

  • Hi thank you for not only your "help" and clear thinking but for being "brave" enough to post a video on your "review" channel but also showing your face. Was watching your "battle armor cobra commander video" then found this one and I was wrong in at first thought thinking Great another anti-gay marriage video, and whats worse by a "toy collector" since they should not mix in my opinion:) So again thanks and glad you proved me wrong!

  • Thanks!

  • Thank you for supporting your fellow Americans who are fighting for equal rights like the ones you enjoy. My Aunt and her partner have been together for over 40 years. They both spent their lives serving in the United States Air Force. Don't they deserve the same rights as other Americans?

Again, thanks for taking the time to post this video. It was very much appreciated!

  • your a good man

  • thank you for standing in solidarity with the LGBT community. Feel free to multiply yourself. :-) We need more people like you who get it.

  • Hey Jason, huge thanks for your response! I really don;t have anything to say or add; you really articulated the matter perfectly. Favourited.

    George

  • Thanks for the video. You're a good man!

  • technically, we already have one of those laws. there's no gender bias to the law that says if you're married in one state, you're married in all. as long as that's not changed, and as long as there is at least one state permitting gay marriage, all states must observe that marriage. it's somewhere in the constitution, i forget where, but it's only a matter of time until this "debate" is over and politicians might have to focus on a real issue.

  • What you reference is the "full faith and credit" clause in Article IV Section I of the US Constitution. This was meant to not only apply to marriage/divorce licenses but also for extradition cases.

However, ONLY by manner prescribed by Congress may the laws (i.e. licenses) be proved. This is up for interpretation, but in regards to DOMA Congress created a separate class of citizens through this law. I suspect the Supreme Court may eventually overturn DOMA and other states "mini-DOMA's."
