  • F****ing love it douse it have midi ?

  • Yes full midi spec. Only joking about the TB and Oscar. I do not have either.

  • Haha looks like fun...still got the DD10 :)....BTW if a machine isnt capable 2 reach 180BPM...Record/program beats on 60BPM (2x60=180) easy ....so make your breakcore trax now ;)

  • @XHALE303 The problem is that it is a preset drum machine and you can not record your rhythms into it. That is why I said to it would have to be recorded over midi to achieve the result that you are looking for. DD10? Arron

  • U can record 2 loops on the DD10, so i guessed the DD12 could do that 2...but i meant it more like in general.....check my kitlist on my channel......the DD12/10 isnt really what im looking 4 :))))

My DD10 is eating dust somwhere in a corner :)

  • @XHALE303 My math skills are a bit dodgy but wouldn't 2 x 60 = 120 bpm and not 180? 2 x 80 bpm or 3 x 60 would get the job done.

    Cheers!

  • @PaulFitzZaland ghehe yep :) ...it prob, was a long night :D

    make that 90BPM

  • What modifications did you do to this beast?

  • @Scharzenskog Follow the wesite link and the details are there.

  • Very nice work!!!

  • Thanks for watching.

  • dude, run that at like 180 bpm. standalone breakcore machine.

  • Not sure if it can reach that rate, but it can be programed via midi to achieve a better result.

  • dang man you seriously pump these things out. is this your living or do you just have a horrible case of insomnia? or both?

that drum machine is completely insane too btw.

i also have a question about the alesis hr-16. i've been looking into getting one to modify but i have heard the alesis hr-16 can be kind of unstable to bend, have you found this to be true? or is it pretty reliable? i just don't want fry one after spending a ton money on it. could you recommend some other drum machines too?

  • Yes we sell all of our machines and it is our only source of income, well partly as we also run synth-spares which supplies original vintage parts on ebay. The HR-16 is a good machine to work on, just stick to the two big chips at the top of the machine, they are both identical, you can't miss em. Do not jump around anywhere else on the board as you could damage it quite easily. The DD-series of yamaha machines are also good to work on... DD-6,7,8,11,12,14,55 are your best bet.

  • cool thanks!

  • Sorry, not the DD-55. I meant to write DD-50. Arron
