Hey, this was a really good review. This is actually one of my favorite animes so it was nice to see another positive review for it. I know right? Some people be hating on it for not being completely action packed. And yeah, they did "bring it" at the end. I didn't know that this was actually hand-drawn 2-D animation. So, I learned something. lol Nice analysis. Oh and I totally didn't notice that Kyoichi was voiced by Dan Green. haha Nice going.
@TigressJade Thanks very much. It's weird how it's the science fiction shows I find the most interesting in anime, and yet I'm not very big on popular sci-fi franchises like Star Trek, you know?
Yeah, I know what you mean. Sometimes it's the secondary anime's that turn out really well. I love Bleach and Naruto, but sometimes I get tired of the contant fight scenes and want them to just get on with the story. Shingu definately gives you something to just sit down, watch, and enjoy. Besides, Sci-fi usually has a few clever twists in it and they make it all worthwhile, ever if you have to wait a bit for the big finale.
