we have had the exact same time of reference to compare marijuana and tobacco and their effects since both have been in heavy use since around the 50's....tobacco kills hundereds of thousands of people a year....marijuana has killed zero in seven thousand years of use and more and more studies are finding medical benefits from cannabis....its obvious which is a better choice of drug if we are to flourish as a society...same goes for alcohol..
