What I saw in Paris shocked me. I visited St. Denis, on the edge of the notorious 'banlieus' of Paris. From St. Denis, to Roissy, I saw nothing but the most horrific slums I have ever seen, yes, even in America. In St. Denis, I saw very few people who weren't immigrants, or children of immigrants.
