I have photoshop elements and everyone seems to have this curved tool which is used in this video straight away. I don't have it, well I can't find it. Do I download it? Make it? Or is it hiding? Cheers! :D
Do you mean the tool that makes the black lines? That is just the normal brush and the example is curved because I am using a tablet. I just traced over the sketch on a different layer.
@imweird21 I'm actually unsure of the price because I got my copy for Christmas. As far as using it, it just takes some getting used to. The layout of the program is extremely different from Photoshop.
Yeah, the pen nib naturally gets smaller as you use it, but it also lasts pretty long. I've had my tablet for about a year and I have only had to change the nib once (and I draw a lot).
For my particular tablet (Intuos 4) It suggests changing the nib when it becomes about 1mm in length. Extra nibs and the nib extractor for this particular model are inside the pen holder.
It's also cool seeing someone using the same version of photoshop as me, since people usually use the main, more expensive ones. :P Haha. Anyways, great job!
You did a wonderful job! Now, I have this same program, and I was curious, how did you learn to paint with it? I'll be getting a graphic tablet soon, the WaCom Bamboo Fun. :) And do you think you can maybe set up a tutorial for painting? I know you have the video but it would be great if you could explain how to paint with it. I understand you are busy and may not want to do a tutorial which is cool. Never hurts to ask! :) once again beautiful work!
I learned to paint with it by playing around with it and watching tutorials right here on YouTube! Yeah... that won't help.... anyway, Sure! i bet I could throw together a tutorial! For Photoshop, right? (Cause I also have Paint Tool Sai now.) And thanks for asking so politely! That makes me happy! Thanks again!
I used the smudge tool in this particular video, but it works best for moving colors around and blurring at the same time. I recommend the blur tool, it takes longer for the same result, but it looks better. And thanks for the nice comment!

@imweird21 Yes, it is done with Photoshop elements 7.
This is a good program, but I prefer to use it for effects now. I now make my art on paint tool sai.
HyperWaterPanda 1 year ago
@HyperWaterPanda so sai paint cost about 62 or 63 dollars right? hmm it seems kinda hard to use tho lol im using the trial program of it right now

@jamandjamm Thanks!
Yes, I use a tablet for my art.

But that's just my model. Hope I helped!

On your eyes...
You can burn the top, it's a bit easier, then dodge a bit on the bottom then add glare. =D
And you are a very good artist. Creative. I love it.
