This is the game show that Jay Stewart ("Let's Make a Deal", "The Joker's Wild", Tic Tac Dough", "Sale of the Century") should have announced.

I believe the announcer is the voice of "Jeopardy!" himself, Johnny Gilbert.

@usa02 He wasn't until later. The voice you hear is a gentleman named Mark Summers, but not the one associated with Double Dare
Thanks for this episode Michael.

Who is this announcer? We know his first name is Mark, and it ain't Summers. Is it NYSI89 announcer Mark Driscoll?

@zachhoran No, that's not Mark Driscoll
Ironic answer for what Doug said he would do with the million dollars since this was probably taped only a few months after the Challenger disaster.

@SJSharkWannabe Uh, the Challenger disaster happened on January 28, 1986. Chance debuted on January 6.

@Tubewings Oops, in that case I rescind what I said. I just saw 1986 & that thought popped in my head.
Just for the record, the first episode of the 1st season uses the theme music which also used for Metrosports College Football broadcasts.
