@ziola90 I agree! I have always, always wondered how different the show would have been if Andrea had stayed and Tina did not have to be recast. So many things would have different. And now we have a chance to have her back on brief occasions just like they do with David, but obviously we can't even get that OR have Sarah in town to carry her mom's legacy! Could you imagine the Tina/Sarah scenes?

Yeah Andrea Evans left the show back in January 1990 when the actress was stalked by a crazed male fan who threatened to slice and dice...well I don't want to get to the nitty gritty but it scared AE terribly so she left the most popular role in daytime of that era. Andrea Evans has said though before going back in 2008 for an interview that had she never been stalked, she would have played Tina constantly to this day. She never wanted to leave as we never wanted her to.

Andrea wouldn't have played the trashy Rebecca on Passions if she had stay on OLTL. Rebecca is really a huge downgrade from Tina. Since her stalker was dangerous, ABC should have given her full protection like bodyguards and the law should have locked him up away forever. It wasn't fair that she had to spend a decade in fear while no one helped her.

Hey Robby did you know that had Andrea Evans was not stalked in the late 80's she would have stayed permanently with this show right up til now? She NEVER wanted to leave, it was her only protection at the time as she was a single 32 year old woman who was stalked by a crazed male fan so she moved out west and hung low...staying far away from acting. She even had to hire somebody to fetch her groceries for her could you believe having to do that? She even made appearances on 20/20.

I was so sad when Andrea Evans left the show and even more upset about the fact she was forced to leave the job she loved. Tina "WAS" OLTL. She was flaky, campy, flighty but also a vixen! I love how Tina was always in trouble. I know she constantly played the damsel but she was just so much fun.

Yeah she loved her job to the hilt...who WOULDN'T of loved playing sexy vixen Tina who got herself in all them crazy situations. if I played an 80's diva, she'd be the one I'd play. She never would have left had that *bung* did that crap. let's hope he's put away...for good. So yeah had that incident not've occurred she would have played Tina til today...still sexy and kicking into her 50's!

Yeah they made Tina into this woman who completely abandoned her family in pursuit of new adventures and then she comes back and they just totally ruin her character. they should've just kept her gone though I will always feel for Tina because I believe she did not want to hurt her family, that their was always outside forces that threatened her. she was the ultimate martyr! Sniff!

OLTL IS going to mess around and be cancelled like GL was. This used to be such a good show now its big bore. There are already rumors they show will be cancelled next year the network is denying it but we all know it might be some truth in it.

It's not a bore. The whole Stacy/Kim fiasco is something I consider a disgrace to the history and integrity of OLTL.
