I downloaded a manual for this horn, and it says that this horn is 93 dB in an anechoic chamber, and 85 dB in a reverberant room. That's louder than the standard smoke detector, but most Wheelock and Simplex horns are louder.
@weatherdan882002 All the manuals including the one for the 4901-9822 list the same pitch, so how come this doesn't sound like a TrueAlert? The manual for your 4906-9127 says it's 94 dB when coded. The loudest is the multi-tone horn series. Some of the tones go up to 102 dB.
@SpecializedChild462 I was referring to my SmartSync TrueAlert. It needs a sync module to operate and all it can do is 60 BPM march time. As for my conventional TrueAlert, it's not 110cd.

@MW2fatcats Must be because of the pitch of the horn. It still puzzles me how loud it is compared to my TrueAlerts.

why can't you just put your truealert in continuous and have the panel do the marchtime?
