@doughboi54 FAMU is not nor never will be a showband. just because they do a dance routine doesnt make them a show band. they do more than what your typical showband does. as well their arrangements of their songs are too difficult for any showband to do. also there are a lot of bands like famu that sounds almost as good as this. look up BCU & SCSU

Not really a FAMU fan but this wasn't too bad. @ the comment about comparing FAMU to BCU; that's a relevant statement if you are talking size. Musically, FAMU shits on BCU, which really isn't saying a whole lot. When I think musically aesthetics, Norfolk State comes to mind! Don't take my word for it tho, have a listen......

This is still the band to beat ..you have some good up and coming bands in the MEAC like SCSU, A&T, and NSU...but this band is simply awesome...BCU is the only band that can really be compared to the 100....definately a LEGENDARY band.

No other band in the World could play this song better, PERIOD. If that makes some people uncomfortable or mad, play it and lets see. My god, its perfectly blended, arranged, and executed. Other bands are merely irrelevant due to the fact that they just don't have the resume of the marching 100 nor the creativity. 3inaugural parades including Pres BARAK OBAMA, 2006 Grammy Awards, Superbowl with Prince, College GAME DAY which usually only does football, 60 Minutes 2008, Thanksgiving day 2008 CBS.

I would have loved to see and hear concert selection played while the band mapped out the world! This really does help with my heart ache and soul missing Michael. ;-(

Absolutely the best Show done by any band EVER!!!!!!!Anyone who disagrees tell their band to put MJ on the field doing a dance pose with a picture of his face and glove in hand.Tellem to have a better musical arrangement with counter melodies and melodic harmony.The screams during the selection are the tributes to HBCU's around the nation, World leaders, and distinguished humanitarians. Tell them to listen to the piccolos at2:53. Listen to the french horns, baritone horns, trumpets for blend.
