This song is dedicated to Fish, Marillion and all of you who grew up with an amazing band called Marillion. We were never perfect but tried to make the best of it. Thank you all for that magpie in a rainbow!
"daddy took a rain check" I need to catch my breath every time i listen to this song!!!! Awesome song from a once awesome band. Long live the warrior poet!!!
This song tears at me... so powerful, so real... timeless! Wish I could have got 2 see em, but I'm from the US, and its too closed minded 2 accept most progressive music!!!!
just pure class. songwriting, vocals, musicanship. nice to know we have gems like this to fall back on when we hear the manufactured shite we are fed today.
Não poderia estar mais de acordo com o JorgeMateus mas, esta musica, está muito acima de tudo que o Socrates possa fazer de bem ou de mal. São estas musicas que nos fazem esquecer os asnos de Portugal e arredores.
This song just breaks my heart, moves me completely and displays the skill of one of my favorite guitar men, the brilliant Steve Rothery. Marillion forever, with or without Fish. Please enjoy !!! Steve is also playing the exact same Japanese 82' Squier Stratocaster that I own. He's the better guitarist though !!!

Great song, great performance. As for Fish, I don't get it. I see an ugly fat man in underwear who is walking up and down the stage. Is that all there is to his "stage presence"?
With all due respect to his merits as a singer, songwriter and lyricist - his appearance on stage is close to repellent. Sorry, Fish fans.
@DeanNolan ... 1 - watch more videos with Fish. 2 - be more open minded. 3 - dont be so judgemental of appearances. 4 - it was the 80's; they all wore vests and head bands. 5 - you said yourself: 'great performance' 6 - stage presence can be as or more reliant on what you hear and feel rather than see. 7 - he's not really 'ugly' 8 - Back then, the music was more important than image. 9 - sincerity and an open heart can influence the emotions in ways that transcend mere 'details' of the visual.
It's 10 years that sometimes I listen to this song..and it's always so fresh, so timeless. and watching how fish was fuç*** up the rock sexy way of dressing is marvellous, he just doesn't give a damm about what it is the proper commercial way to dress, just pure poetry and genius, thanks fish, thanks marillion
@polpetta70 Take a look at the videos of "Hotel Hobbies", "Warm Wet Circles" and "That Time Of The Night" from the same concert. His way of dressing there is fu**ing amazing!
No sorry, Hogarth will never measure up to Fish. Fish was Marillion, they haven't had anywhere the success they had since Fish left the band. Hogarth's voice is weak in comparison to Fish.
This is the first time the complete concert has been released in an audio format.
Includes four previously unreleased tracks; 'White Russian', 'Fugazi', 'Garden Party' and 'Market Square Heroes', not featured in the original DVD version.
This band approved release features new liner notes written especially for this release by Fish.
I am moved to tears, pulls out the sadness in me.

Após ouvir o Sócrates ontem, apeteceu-me ouvir isto...
"... Cant you understand that the Government left me out of work? I just couldnt stand the look in their faces saying: - What a jerk...
We're just sugarmices in the rain... You can blame it on me!"
Apesar de ser uma canção "do amor"... aqui vai aplicada à situação que vivemos.
