Well... I remember these guys from way back - the 80's - the old 14th and Euclid Days. And they also played shows at Tulagis on the Hill. Its nice to see how far they have come! But, I still have some old tapes from a long time ago. What a fun time that was! I miss those days!!!

im currently growing up in the town Sean did!! Their music has become the soundtrack to my summer, ive listened to them since i was born. Their aint nothing better than cruising the Milton-Georgia border along lake Champlain listening to the Samples!!!

Wow. I have soooo many fond memories listening to your music.. I remember going to Lake Powell, with a group of my high school friends... we listened to you the entire trip. We all have gone our separate ways now.. but this music takes me back to that time.. when I was about 20 years old.... life ahead of me.. so many questions...

Met you guys in NYC at the 1991 Earth Day festival. The Fixx played first and they were arrogant pricks. You guys came backstage, were super polite to everyone and blew the other bands away.

I found a Samples mixtape in the apartment I was crashing in for a couple of weeks over Spring Break 1998, in Broomfield, Colorado. First time I popped it in was driving down I-70 to Summit Country. The echoey vocals and guitars just seemed to fit the mountains so well. It sealed the deal when I learned they're actually from Colorado. For me, now that I live in Colorado, the Samples are real mountain music.
