ey bro did you check the harbor to see if its beat up...cuz if it is its going to eat that bearing like nothing even if u put in a new bearing...iono make sure u check that 1st....
I asked because a similar thing happened to me. I had a squeal coming from the wheel of my '76 Dodge Colt every now and then. Then one day as I was driving about 45 mph, the wheel bearing basically exploded. The only thing holding the wheel to the car was the brake caliper.
Spindle was chewed up. Can be tricky at times because with the greese packed in you may think a little play wont make a big difference but overtime it does. Took about a month for this bearing to fail again. I ended up getting a new spindle
Turn the stereo up and the problem goes away.

Because of such broken bearing I've ended in a ditch with my ford escort convertible :) during winter in a straight road at 70km/h

I had to replace the spindle.
