This song has a Super-Natural Meaning. There is something very mystical in this song. I am a devote Roman Catholic but when I heard Michael play this song LIVE in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this song got deep into my SPIRIT and I knew it was JESUS who was speaking to me thru Michael. This song has so much sentimental value to me. I first heard it at a Young Life meeting with my best friend Jim. We thought the song described our friendship. That summer we were in a car crash together. He died 6 1/2 months later. Then the song really described our friendship. It remains my favorite song and a lifetime is not too long to live as friends.

I went to this concert. I was 5 years old, but I still can remember him playing friends.

My parents took me because we had just gotten finished with a Billy Graham crusade in Charlotte, NC the previous year and they wanted to see Michael W Smith because he was our family favorite music artist - so they took my brother and I to see him there with them. It was a great family experience, and Its my favorite song to play on the piano. Ive played it fors friends funeral b4 and it still touches me.

This was never on a tv channel. It was on a VHS cocert video called "Change Your World Live." This was back in the day when Smitty was doing the large coliseum tours. It's a great concert if you can get your hands on it. Very hard to find in stores today, I know, I've tried. You might be able to get it through his website, but I'm not sure.
