(She ran barefoot, which peaked the interest of the likes of Nike -- they thought it would be quite a marketing coup if they could get her to wear their shoes!) yes, she died back in 1986, when this was being recorded she wasnt very well at all as can be seen by just looking at ther in these episodes and the earlier till death us do part episodes, when she did die they did continue recording without her and poor old alf shows he really did love her. x
