I went with TVC with an org called Volunteer Abroad (from Canada) - it was amazing. I think it is too bad there are not more people going to do economic development work as well.

thank you Kokotan, I worked with the Thai Red Cross, and arrived from Bangkok when tsunami happened, I worked in Khao Lak/Ban Nam Kem for over a year, and still...my love for these people is without measure,...love and light to you~Azianna

Ola Joaquin! Great to hear from passionate people like yourself. What kind of project were you involved in? I was building houses and taught english to kids in school. Would love to go back again sometime.... my heart is still there.

My heart and my mind are there too. I was building houses at Ban Nam Khem for three weeks. I'm thinking about to come back this autumn another time :)

Thank you for sharing these. I worked with TVC in June/July 2005 and it's wonderful to see these pictures shared from before I got there. We had much work then, and no doubt there is much work to do, but the amount of progress has been heartwarming. どうもありがとうございました！！
